        [VANESSA'S POV]
I wake up feeling sick to my stomach. I don't feel as cold as I did yesterday. I look beside me and see Madelaine still asleep. I shake her gently. She gets up quickly. "What's wrong, baby?" She asks worriedly. I pat my stomach. "Your stomach hurts still?" She asks. I nod my head. "Do you want more tea?" Madelaine asks. I shake my head. "What do you want?" She asks. I shrug my shoulder. I grab her hands and put them on my stomach. I start to move them up and down. "You want me to massage your stomach?" She asks. I nod my head. She laughs and starts to massage my stomach. She kisses my forehead softly. I give her a small smile.

"Do you want to go to work today?" Madelaine asks. I shrug my shoulders. "Do I have to?" I ask. "No, we can stay home. If you don't feel well we don't need to go." She says. She continues to massage my stomach. "Why we, I'm sick. You aren't." I say. "I know but you're my girlfriend, so I'm going to stay home and take care of you." Madelaine says. I nod my head. "I don't want to go." I say nervously. "Okay, then we can stay home." She says. "Are you sure? You should go to work." I say. "I'm not going if you are sick." She says. "Are you sure?" I ask. "I'm sure." Madelaine reassures. "Okay." I mumble.

"I'm going to go get you some medicine." Madelaine says. I immediately frown. "It's gross." I pout. "I know, baby. You need to take it though, so you can get better." Madelaine reasons. I cross my arms. Madelaine stops massaging my stomach and takes her hands away. "Please, baby." Madelaine asks. I huff, "Fine." I mumble. "Thank you. I'll be right back." Madelaine says. She kisses my cheek and gets out of bed. She walks out of the door, and disappears down the hallway.

I wait patiently and look through Instagram. I like multiple Choni and Riverdale posts. There have been many articles about me and Madelaine. Madelaine ignores it while I read them. That interviewer posted my phone call, so it was in almost every article. I was currently reading an article someone posted on Instagram.

Basically just a bunch of facts about our friendship. Then the video of the phone call. Pictures of us together. The double date. So far I haven't seen any pictures of us on the recliner. Which is good considering Madelaine doesn't want to come out yet. Plus both of us cuddled up on a recliner during a movie wouldn't look very platonic.

I'm broken out of my thoughts by Madelaine walking into the room with medicine, and a tray. "I made you breakfast, too. Do you think you can eat?" Madelaine asks. I shrug my shoulders. I wasn't hungry. I didn't really have an appetite. "Will you try, please?" Madelaine asks. I nod my head. I sit up with my back against the headboard. She walks up to the bed and sets the tray on my lap. She hands me the medicine. I drink it quickly. "Why don't they make good tasting medicine?" I ask. Madelaine shrugs.

I look at the food she made. It's not a lot but it's more than I would like to eat. I don't want to throw it up. I grab the fork and fiddle with the food. I take a bite, not being able to really taste the food. I force myself to eat more than half of it. Madelaine takes the tray back to the kitchen. She comes back and sits next to me.

"How are you feeling?" Madelaine asks. I shrug my shoulder. "Tummy hurts." I reply. "Why don't you take a hot bath. Maybe it will soothe your stomach." Madelaine suggests. "Come with?" I ask nervously. "Yes, I'll go with you." She giggles. She gets out of the bed and waits for me. I crawl to her and wrap my arms around her neck. She picks me up and carries me to the bathroom.

She sets me on the counter. She leaves to the tub, and turns on the water. I start to undress myself. I take off my shirt, and bra. I toss them on the floor, and sit patiently. Madelaine comes up to me and puts me on the floor. I take off my bottoms. I walk to step into the water. I sit in the water and look to Madelaine. She looks to her feet nervously.
