        [VANESSA'S POV]
I walk up the stairs and look through the long hallway. Well shit. How am I supposed to know which room is hers? "Babe?" I ask. I don't hear an answer. I walk down the hallway slowly. "Babe?" I ask a little louder. "Over here." She responds. I go farther down the hallway to her voice. "Babe, which room is yours?" I ask. Madelaine opens a door down the hallway. I walk to her quickly. She leads me into her room. I stop stunned at how different it is from her current home.

The walls were painted a bright red. She has different paintings sprawled about on the walls. There is a huge bookshelf in the corner of the room. The king sized bed is placed in the middle of the room against the wall. Yoshi is laying on it sleeping. It has a black canopy draped around it. On the other side of the room there's a desk with a huge mirror in front of it. The room was lit up by a bay window with glittery pillows around it. I would be lying if I said it didn't remind of Cheryl's room.

"Do you not like it?" Madelaine asks nervously. "No, I love it." I reassure. Madelaine smiles. "It's just so different. I didn't expect it to look like this." I say looking around. "I thought they would have thrown everything out by now. I'm surprised it's all still here. Even some of my clothes are still in the closet." She says. She closes the door behind her. She walks to the bed, and sits on the edge of it. "It's insane to think you hadn't set foot in this room for almost ten years." I say sitting next to her. She looks down sadly, and plays with her ring. "Yeah." She mumbles. "It's okay. You're here now. You can start over." I say. She nods. "I hope so." She smiles.

I grab her chin, and make her face me. "No gloomy faces. Enjoy seeing your parents again. They say they've changed. Try to have a good fresh start with them." I say. "You're right. Maybe they have changed for the better." Madelaine smiles. "Do you think they'll hate me?" I ask. She shrugs her shoulders. "I hope not because you're going to stick around for a very long time." Madelaine says. She leans in and kisses my lips lovingly. I pull away slightly. "Good. I wasn't planning on going anywhere." I say, my hot breath touching her lips. I lean back in kissing her lips harder than before.

Madelaine grabs my cheeks pulling me closer. I grab her hips tightly. Madelaine bites down on my bottom lip roughly. I groan, and pull Madelaine into my lap. Just as she slides her tongue across my bottom lip the door opens quickly.

"Laine, oh u-um. I-I'm sorry I should've knocked." Timothy stutters. He turns around so he's facing the hallway. I pull away from Madelaine quickly. She sighs laying her forehead on my shoulder. "It's okay, Dad." Madelaine says.

She gets off of my lap, and sits beside me. Timothy stands awkwardly in the doorway. "You can turn around now." Madelaine laughs. He turns around rubbing the back of his neck nervously. "Your mom, and I wanted to know if you both would like to stay for lunch?" He asks. "Yeah, that sounds great." She responds. "Would you like to help her with lunch? She's about to start cooking." Timothy asks. "Yeah." Madelaine smiles. She kisses my head before leaving down stairs.

Timothy looks to me, and laughs. "What?" I ask confused. "You got a little something on your lip." He laughs. I touch my bottom lip gently. I pull my finger away to see there's blood on it. My lip is bleeding. "She seriously made me bleed?" I ask. "Looks like it." He chuckles. I knew she bit me hard but I didn't think it was that hard.

"I'll show you where the bathroom is, so you can clean yourself up." Timothy says. "Thank you." I mumble holding my lip. I get off the bed and follow him down the long hallway.

He opens a door, and turns on the light. I look in the mirror quickly. My bottom lip is swollen with blood dripping from it. "Damn." I mutter. "Let me get you a towel." Timothy says. He opens a cabinet behind me. He grabs a small towel, and hands it to me. I wet it, and bring it up to my lip.
