"Umaga... tanghali.. hanggang ngayon.. they're really stepping up their game." ginulo ni Seht ang kanyang buhok.

"Okay ka na tol? Gusto mo na bang kausapin si Kara?" hinihimas-himas ni Chase ang likod ko.

Nasa bar kami ngayon. Hindi ko alam kung bakit napasama kami sa planong ito ni Chase

Wala naman kaming ibang magawa simula kaninang umaga dahil ayaw pa rin nila kaming kausapin.

I don't know what's wrong with girls and their friendship. Mahirap naman talaga silang intindihin. Tsk.

Sinenyasan ko ang bartender na satyr to hand me another shot. I can't even remember how much I drank.

I stopped counting after... twelve.

"I think this is not a good idea Chase. Nahihilo na ako." sambit ng anak ni Apollo na katabi ko rin. The rest of them were silent maliban nalang nitong si Chase na pinipilit akong puntahan si Kara.

Napatingin ako sa orasan na nakadikit sa itaas and found out it's already 9:30 in the evening.

Damn.

The girls are really taking this to another level. Buong araw silang hindi nagpakita sa'min. Even after we looked like crap yesterday night.

Are they trying to prove how they don't need us?

Or how we need them?

"Amputcha bro mag-usap nalang kasi kayo!" hindi na nakayanan ni Chase ang kanyang galit.

It smells of alcohol and ambrosia here and I feel like it's slowly affecting me.

"Sa tingin mo madali lang?" I gave him a piercing look.

His way is different from mine. Hindi ako katulad niya.

Before he could even complete his sentence, my fist connected to his face.

"The fuck was that for?!" blood trickled on the edge of his lips. Tinignan niya ako like I should regret what I just did.

But I fucking don't.

I received a sharp blow on my cheek dahilan na mawalan ako ng balanse. Good thing and I only ended up sitting on my chair.

"Masamang plano nga 'to-tumigil na nga kayo PUTA NAMAN OH! Pati dito-" pinigilan ni Chase si Seht.

I just grinned while feeling the sting on my upper jaw. Nagising ako dun ah. Tsk.

I was about to give in to my anger and throw the heaviest punch when I heard the thunder crackling from outside.

Nilingon ko si Trev. His emotionless face shows dominance over everything else.

I hissed. "You think that could scare me?"

Cesia's POV

"HAHAHA! So ayun nga wala siyang natamong sagot mula sa'kin!"

Nakangiti ako habang nakikinig kay Art. Ito na talaga yung huling dinner namin sa mortal realms dahil bukas ng umaga, babalik na kami sa Academy.

Ayoko ngang bumalik kasi maayos na yung lagay namin dito pero kailangan.

"Hey, the report says a storm surge is coming up... ikaw na ang maghanda ng generator."

Sumingkit ang aking mga mata nang marinig ang ibinulong ng isang babae sa waiter na siyang nagseserve ng orders namin sa lamesa.
