End of the World

Ria's POV

"Hala gago hindi pa gumigising si Ria?!" narinig ko ang pagpapanic ni Thea.

Something blinding caught my eyes as I tried to open them.

"Ayy hala- nasisilawan lang pala!" sigaw niya. "Yan kasing pakpak mo Chase eh!"

Umupo ako at inangat ang aking tingin sa kanilang lahat na pinapaligiran ako. Lahat sila ay may suot na nag-aalalang ekspresyon sa mukha. Sinubukan kong alalahanin ang nangyari dahilan na mapatayo ako at panandaliang mahilo.

"Calm down, Ria." hinawakan ni Seht ang magkabilang balikat ko.

"Si Cal-" I stopped when I saw him standing infront of me.

"Ay okay na yun Ria eh di niya naman kasalanan yun. Wag mo na palalain yung pakiramdam niya.." nginitian ako ni Art.

Siningkitan ko ng mga mata si Cal dahilan na bigyan ako ni Kara ng nagbabantang tingin.

"We need to summon the Olympians." ani Kara. "They're trapped in the Underworld."

"Teka- nasa'n si Cal?!" tanong ni Chase.

"Yan kaseee!! Inaway nyo eh nagtampo tuloy!" Thea waved her pointing finger back and forth while receiving serious looks from us.

"He must be looking for the other deities." sagot ni Kaye. "I can feel his presence below us."

"We better help Cesia and Trev then." suhestyon ko. Nagtinginan sila sa isa't-isa bilang sagot.

"What?" my brows furrowed. Umikot ako para makitingin sa tinitignan nila. The moment I realized why they didn't take my suggestion, my jaw dropped.

The clouds dimmed so dark I thought I became blind.

"Oh shit." napaatras ako nang bumagsak sa harap namin ang naputol na kamay ni Cronus.

"Oh tara na! Uwian naaaa!!" sigaw ni Thea.

My eyes stared at her then I noticed.

Now did I only fucking noticed that her eyes were glowing the color of gold.

"SHE HAD HER DIVINATION ALREADY?!" naiinis kong tanong.

Umiling si Kara. "You haven't seen the rest of it... yet."

Once again, what she said left me confused kaya patuloy ako sa panonood sa babaeng nakalutang sa harap nina Hecate at Nyx.

"That's not her." puna ko.

"That's her." sagot ni Kara.

With one motion of her hand, she deflected the huge boulders being thrown at her. Mist crawled from Hecate's palms to Cesia's. I saw Trev looking at her direction and the mist started to scatter into thin air.

"Literal na power couple ah.." puna ni Chase.

Both their eyes became like lone stars in the middle of the night. Naalala ko ang unang training na magkasama silang dalawa. At first, I wasn't sure why I enjoyed watching them.

And now I know.

Maybe because the both of them were destined to fight side by side in the first place.

Or maybe because they make each other whole.

It could be both.

Nagkaroon ng lindol at lumabas mula sa ilalim ng lupa si Cal kasama ang mga Olympians. Their clothes were unharmed but their faces were filled with gold liquid.
