It was said, that the theme song in Lavender Town of the Kanto Region, if you play Pokemon versions Red, Blue, Green or Yellow you are listening to the unoriginal song

Because in Japan, before it was sent to America for English translation, rumors say that the theme song of Lavender town was too high pitched for a adult but in perfect hearing range for kids

So, a reason why adults dislike playing Pokemon because of the sound that only children can take

Besides that, before they could get it to English, they changed the sound level and abit of the tune because of the incidents that happened

Japanese children were reported to have suicide after playing the game, adults say maybe it was because of the sound because nothing unordinary was occurring when they play

So it's said, never to listen to an original Japanese version of Pokemon Kanto region, because you might just hear the terrible screams of children who try to block out the high pitched theme song
