Chapter One

I walked into the huge gates of Lakeview high. The school was so big and very beautiful. I always dreamed of coming here and my dreams came true. I got here on scholarship, my mom couldn't obviously afford the fees here. Its for the rich kids and that's why I didn't want anyone knowing I was here on scholarship.

I got into the supervisors office and she gave me some papers containing my class, locker and timetable without saying a word. How would I know my way round this school?

I walked out the door hoping to make a very nice friend who would show me round. Everyone just walked to and fro, some had their group of friends and they chatted and laughed away. I watched the way everyone acted gleefully and how gorgeous and fancy the girls looked. I didn't belong here one bit!

  I kept on looking around and taking in my surroundings when I bumped into a large frame and all my books and papers fell. They were in my hands because I didn't have time to put them in my bag pack.
  The guy I bumped into just dusted off his shirt and kept going. What the actual hell! He couldn't even help me or let alone say sorry. Seems like he just dusted off his brain.

Some people glanced at my direction as I bent down to retrieve my books but no one actually came to help. Next thing the bell rang loudly and everyone scurried off to their various classes. Great. How am I supposed to get to my class now.

  After getting all my books I stood up and spotted three girls at the end of the end of the hallway. I couldn't be more happy as I walked over to them.
I figured out one of them was crying while two were comforting her.

"Um. Hey I'm sorry how can I get to Grade 12a "
They looked up and down at me with a nonchalant expression and one with red hair spoke up.

"Do you know who we are"
I squinted my eyes to check them out very well to know if they were celebrities or something.

"I'm obviously new you dont expect me to know you " I replied.

"Well get the fuck out of here with your new self" the other one on blonde said
I'm positive this girls have a big problem.

"I only asked for directions" I said calmly.

  The girl crying looked up at me with her blood shot dark green eyes, her perfect blonde hair was picked up in a straight ponytail. She was obviously the prettiest in the three of them, she was wearing a blue play suit with studs all over which was way too fancy for school but I guess the school itself is fancy.
The school jacket was on her shoulders and her appearance screamed rich and classy.

"We can only tell you the directions to the hell hole you came from" she spat as she looked up and down at me with distaste.
She was about to say another thing when the bell rang again which should be the warning bell.

"C'mon girls" she said again and they walked away their heels clicking the white clean floors of the school.
I am never getting to class today, my eyes felt glossy and I looked up at the ceiling to keep the tears from falling. I am stronger than this.

I walked to the direction the girls went, determined to find my class. I went through series of staircases and turns then found myself in the same hallway.
I did it again and this time didn't get on any staircase after turning one last time, I was about to give up when I came face to face with a door of a classroom that read Grade 12a in golden letters on the door. I wanted to do my happy dance, I made it.
