Serena

It was Saturday and I was making lunch for myself in the kitchen when Alex entered the house.

Yeah he doesn't knock, he enters.

"Hey what are you doing" he asked sitting on one of the stools of the kitchen Island.

"Making Tuna salad, do you want some?"

"Nah" he says "I was wondering..."
My cellphone rang before he could complete the sentence.

It was Emily. I picked it

"What's up, Em"

"What are you still doing, get to my house right now" she barked

"What!?" I scrunched my brows.

"Don't tell me you've forgotten about the party"

I totally forgot

"No I didn't, I'll be right there"

I cut the call before she could say anything more.

"Are you going somewhere" Alex asks

"Yeah, a party"

"Since when do you go for parties"

"Since.. I don't know" I replied packing the cooking stuffs

"Okay then. Have fun" he said angrily.

"What's up with you, what did you wanna say before my phone rang?"

"Nothing important" and with that he left the house.

I really dont know why Alex was acting this way. He should understand it was school.
I felt bad though, we haven't hung out in a while now.

I went up to my room to look for a dress for the party.
I didn't have much clothes, so I just settled on a black jeans and blue halter neck top along with white sandals.

I got my phone and purse before rushing over to Emily's house.

She answered the door on the second door bell ring.

"Did you get kidnapped on your way or something" she started ranting as we went to her room.

"If I actually got kidnapped I dont think I would be here"

"True. But Serena we are already more than fashionably late"

Emily was looking nice. She was on a very tight black dress that stopped mid thigh. Her hair was curled up and flowed down her back. She also wore a nude heel.

"Where are you going dressed like that" she said, looking at me head to toe.

"What's wrong with it" I looked through the large mirror that covered half the wall.

"If you dont know, we aren't going to a church" she shrieked, and started searching for something in her closet.

"Well whatever lets just go"

"This would be perfect" she said holding up a white body hug dress. It had silvery studs on it and looked expensive.

"No Emily you dont have to"

"I insist, besides you should look nice for Lucas" she wiggled her brows

"I told you he's never going to talk to me again"

"Never say never" she tossed the dress at me and I caught it easily and put it on.

It clunged to my body and was so tight, which brought out my curves. Curves I never knew I had.
