Chapter Six

Serena

After school we dragged our feet to the deadly detention.

We were surprised to see Matt and his friend Lucas there.

Seeing Lucas closer I realized he was strikingly gorgeous with short blonde hair that stood on his head, and some spikes falling onto his forehead above his icy blue eyes, he has tantalizing abs slightly revealing under the shirt he wore.

We took a seat at their back.

Emily was about to ask Matt something.

"Do you have anything to tell us Emily" the teacher asked.

She shut her mouth immediately and shook her head.

After a long boring while, I looked up at the wall clock and it was just 3.30, the detention was ending by 4

The time was so freaking slow.

"I have a meeting to attend" the teacher spoke up.
"I don't expect to hear noise from here or else you'll all get another detention"

We nodded.

"I'll be back here by 4 and you all must still be here or else you get two more detentions"

We groaned and I was surprised that everyone was thinking of leaving this place when he was gone.

He left finally and the guys turned to us.

"Why are you guys on detention" Emily asked.

"We stopped the school bell from ringing" Matt smirked.

"That explains, you guys are so meant to be suspended"

"If they suspended Matt, no doubt you'll miss him" Lucas said to Emily and she blushed deeply.

Lucas glanced over at me.

"Oh Lucas this is my friend Serena... Serena he's Lucas" Emily introduced and I was glad she didn't say the 'I'm new' part.

"Nice to meet you, Serena" he smirked "I like the name"

I bet he says this to all the girls. I mentally rolled my eyes.

"Thanks" I tucked a piece of hair behind my ear as we shook.

"Are you new in town or just the school"

"Just the school"

His blue eyes pierced through mine and I looked away to Emily, she was telling Matt about what happened with her dad today.

I wondered if she tells him everything.

"You should come to my party on Saturday" Lucas said again.

I was about to decline the request.

"She'll definitely be there" Emily cut in and I sent daggers to her.

"Okay then, Matt and I could come pick you guys up"

Where was this guy getting to?

"No need, we would come on our own" I said quickly before Emily would accept.

  The teacher entered immediately and everyone went silent.
Finally it was over and I needed to get away from this blue eyed monster, he made me so nervous.

We all left the class quickly after the teacher dismissed us.

"So I'll see you around" Lucas said to me

Matt kissed Emily on her cheeks before they walked off.

Emily turned to me smiling giddily.

"He was totally hitting on you" she said

"Who? Lucas"

"Not possible"

"Yes possible, he asked you out to a party, its a date"

I laughed "Who goes on a date to a party. He only invited me to his party"

"Trust me he's into you".

"Oh please, I bet he won't even talk to me after today" I rolled my eyes

"Of course he would"

"Nope" I said

"Do I smell a bet"

"Yes you do" I replied and we laughed together
