A loud buzzing sound is what woke Logan the following morning. After glancing around for the source he found it to be his phone, resting on the table beside of his bed. Sitting up he reached out for his phone and glasses, slipping the glasses on and unlocking his phone, finding a text from Patton that was sent to both him and Virgil.
Patton: Hey!!! I know you two were probably up too late last night so you might not see this now, but I was hoping we could all go to the park later. Let me know if you want to!!
Logan received a second text as he was reading the first, once again sent by Patton. This message didn't say anything, but rather contained heart emojis in every color they came in. Logan felt the corners of his mouth twitch upwards slightly, shaking his head at his boyfriend. He went to type out a message, and then paused.
Would he be able to handle seeing Virgil if he did decide to go? After the previous night he still felt worried, and he wanted to be sure that his friend was okay, but now there was another problem. Everything he had been thinking about the night before-his own possible feelings for the other. Logan frowned, wondering if Virgil would even answer Patton's text.
Hesitantly, Logan typed out his response. He didn't want to leave Patton without an answer, even thought it was clear he didn't expect one from either of them so soon.
Logan: I wouldn't mind hanging out at the park.
His finger hovered over the text for a moment, then quickly pressed the send button before he could change his mind. He only hoped that Virgil would agree to go. Logan still wasn't sure how he was going to handle seeing him, but Virgil was his friend and it wasn't as if he could just avoid him. He still needed to see him to be sure that he was feeling alright after his behavior the night before.
Patton was quick to respond, saying he was glad that Logan would go. He made a comment on being surprised Logan was up, and Logan had to admit he was surprised too. He wanted nothing more than to lay back down and sleep the rest of the day away, after all he hadn't slept very well that night, but he knew it would likely only end the same way again. Logan didn't respond to Patton though, instead focused on waiting for Virgil to answer.
After a few minutes of doing nothing but watching his phone screen Logan finally saw the three dots appear that meant Virgil was finally typing something. He watched them for what felt like forever, seeing him start typing something, and then stop. Logan thought for a moment he might just not answer, and then it started again.
Virgil: i guess I don't have anything better to do..
Logan wasn't sure if he should feel relieved at knowing he was okay, or terrified over knowing he had to face Virgil later on. He drew in a deep breath, shaking his head and ignoring anything he might be feeling to instead respond to Patton as he asked what time they would like to meet up. He wasn't going to worry, he told himself. It was going to be fine.

Logan and Patton were the first to arrive, sitting together on a bench by the front of the park. Virgil was taking longer to get there, and Logan was worried. What if he chose not to come? What if something happened to him?
Logan chose to ignore his unpleasant thoughts and instead talked with Patton for a while. At first they talked about little things, nothing that was super important but it made them laugh. Then all of a sudden Patton started to look more serious. The smile disappeared from his face and he looked nervous.
"Patton?" Logan questioned, putting a hand gently on his boyfriend's shoulder. "Is something wrong?"
Patton paused, glancing over at Logan and then looking to the ground in front of him, the tip of his shoe moving dirt around. He opened his mouth to speak, and then closed it again, drawing in a steady breath. "Logan... I haven't upset you lately, have I?"
"Upset me?" Logan questioned, sounding confused. "Why would you upset me?"
Patton shrugged, continuing to stare at the ground for a minute before finally looking up to face Logan. "I guess I mean that... Well while we've been spending time with Virgil, I know I've been acting... weird. Because of the-the... y'know."
"Your tallies?" Logan supplied, and Patton nodded slowly.
"Yeah, because of those. Has that... have I... hurt you? Or made you mad?" He asked hesitantly, going back to looking at the ground as his cheeks and eyes burned.
Logan frowned, also looking out in front of him as he thought about it. He definitely wasn't mad or upset with Patton, he already knew that. Logan did wonder why though. Wasn't it normal to be somewhat jealous when your boyfriend tells you he likes two other people and then spends a lot of time with those people around you? Maybe, but Logan just didn't feel that way.
Logan looked back to Patton, gently taking his hand. He got Patton to turn back to him, and gave him a small smile. "Patton, I promise you that you have not upset me in any way. I love you. I suppose I am just... glad that you are happy, even if it is with Virgil or Roman too. All I want is to see you happy."
Logan didn't admit that it may also have something to do with him probably falling for their makeup-wearing friend. He didn't explain that he was also enjoying his time with Patton and Virgil. He wouldn't admit it out loud, or even to himself, but he would tell Patton that he loved him, and that he would be by him no matter what. So he did, admitting it through his actions rather than his words as he chose to lean forward and kiss him.
It was a simple and short kiss, and Logan pulled back almost immediately after with a smile on his lips. Patton gave him a small and nervous smile back, and then pulled Logan closer for another, longer kiss. He wrapped his arms around Logan's neck as the other wrapped his around his waist, pulling each other closer. It was only when they heard someone clearing their throat beside of their bench that they jumped apart, looking up to find out who it was.
"Geez, I was only a few minutes late guys. If that's what's going to happen the entire time we're here maybe I should just head back home." Virgil snorted, and Logan and Patton grinned with him.
"Virgil!" Patton exclaimed, jumping out of his spot on the bench to throw his arms around his friend. Logan rose behind him to do the same, hugging Virgil as well, although much gentler than Patton had.
"Hello, Virgil." Logan smiled at him, receiving an awkward one back as Virgil blushed. Logan assumed it had something to do with the previous night, so he said nothing.
"Hey," Virgil greeted them both back, giving a tiny awkward wave. "So, are we really only here so you two can make out, or are we actually going to be walking around the park?"
