Roman was sitting on the couch in his living room, eyes on the tv in front of him. His focus wasn't truly on the events of the Disney movie he had turned on to distract himself however, but rather on his "friends" once again. He hated that he couldn't stop thinking about it. He just wanted to forget them, to move on so that maybe he could finally stop hurting.

Nothing seemed to help him succeed in forgetting about them though.

He frowned as he heard a knock on his door, pausing the movie and glancing towards the entrance. He really didn't want to deal with people right now-he was tired, and sad, and he just wanted to be left alone. He considered just not answering, but they quickly knocked again and it became clear that they weren't going to go away.

Sighing Roman slowly made himself stand, trudging over towards the door and rolling his eyes when they knocked a third time. What could be so important to this person? Roman unlocked the door, not bothering to check who it was before he pulled it open.

He had certainly not been expecting to find Patton and Logan, two of the three people he wanted to see the least in that moment. He froze as he stared at the two of them, not saying a word. He looked over the both of them, noting that it seemed as though Patton had been crying recently. He was more surprised to see that Logan even looked close to tears at seeing Roman.

Roman snapped himself out of his daze quickly, surprised look turning quickly into a glare. His grip on the doorknob tightened, and he considered just closing the door in their face without bothering to listen to them. He wasn't sure what made him decide against it.

"What do you want?" He grit out, trying not to feel guilty when both of them winced at his voice. It was their fault he was angry, and they knew what they did.

"We... we wanted to talk to you, Roman." Patton spoke softly, sounding scared. "Please, hear us out..."

Roman considered it. He really wanted to listen, he wanted things to go back to normal. He wanted to be their friend again, to be with Virgil again but he couldn't. What could they possibly say to make up for the fact that they both fell in love with his boyfriend, that they went behind his back together? How could things ever go back to the way they were before? Roman was still hurt, and he was still angry.

"No." He shook his head, looking away from them. "No, there's nothing you can say to make up for what happened. I don't even understand why you're here. You don't care about me, so the only reason you could be here is t-to mess with me, or to get something from me! Well, I'm not interested."

"Roman, wait!" Patton said as Roman went to shut the door, and once more Roman wasn't sure why he hesitated. "Please Roman, please listen to us!"

"Why should I?" Roman shouted back, glaring at them. He went to slam the door on both of them, but was stopped by Logan putting his hand out.

"Because we're in love with you!" Logan shouted back, just as loud and Roman felt himself freeze again. The door was halfway closed, and a voice in the back of Roman's head told him to shut it the rest of the way. They were lying, they had to be. Roman couldn't listen to that voice, too shocked to do anything.

"Wh-what?" He asked, voice quiet now. All of his anger seemed to have disappeared. "You... what?"

"We love you, Roman. We're being serious." Patton repeated, his voice just as soft as Roman's. He was terrified of admitting his feelings, but also felt hopeful. Maybe Roman might actually listen now, maybe they could fix this.

"You're crazy," Roman muttered, but his hand fell away from the doorknob. He wasn't going to shut them out anymore.

"We're being honest." Logan said, taking a step closer and holding out his arm. Patton followed, showing Roman his arm too. "We have the tallies that prove it."
