Patton was the first to wake the next morning, despite also being the last to sleep. It wasn't much of a surprise to him, knowing how the others hated mornings. The first thing he happened to notice was that Marshmallow was no longer sitting with the four of them and had instead moved to the small chair on the other side of the room, taking up all of the space in it despite being curled into a tight ball.

He smiled at that before his gaze was drawn back to his friends, still smiling as he found them all clinging tightly to each other in their sleep. Virgil was the farthest from Patton, on the edge of the couch sitting next to Roman. His arms were loosely slung around his shoulders as his boyfriend leaned his head against him, one of his arms slung around Virgil's waist. Logan was on the other side of Roman, leaning up against him and hiding his face in Roman's chest. Roman's other arm was draped around him, and Patton couldn't help but think that they all looked adorable.

He sat for a moment, simply admiring the others before realizing he should probably get up and make some breakfast. He considered waking them first, but decided against it quickly. They were simply too adorable, and they probably all needed the sleep. Patton knew of each of their awful sleeping habits, so sleeping in would probably be good for them all. Making this decision be easily untangled himself, not being too difficult since they all were leaning away from him, and made his way into his kitchen.

Patton hummed quietly to himself as he was making food, which was probably why he didn't hear the footsteps behind him when he was around halfway finished. He jumped and threw his hand over his heart, not at all expecting the arms that wrapped around his waist and the chest pressed against his back. He heard Logan laugh quietly, resting his chin on Patton's shoulder and mumbling a quiet apology.

"I didn't mean to scare you," he promised, Patton smiling along with him as he realized what had happened. "Sorry, Love."

Patton's cheeks burned at the nickname and he grinned, turning back to Logan as much as he could to kiss his cheek. "It's okay. Did you sleep well?"

"Mhm," Logan hummed tiredly. "Where are your parents at? I don't think we've seen them since we got here last night."

"I guess they had to work late," Patton answered with a shrug. "I know they're always at work again by now though."

Logan hummed, seeming satisfied with that answer. Both of them heard the footsteps making their way into the kitchen this time, and Patton didn't jump when Roman jokingly wrapped his arms around both of them from behind Logan, mimicking what Logan had been doing. Patton smiled, turning the best he could to see Roman and also give him a kiss on the cheek.

"Good morning, Roman." He greeted, pleased when the overly dramatic teenager grinned back at him.

"Good morning, my loves!" He exclaimed, clinging desperately onto Logan and Patton as the former attempted to push him away.

"You wish I were yours," he remarked bitterly, and Roman looked offended.

"I believe it's actually the opposite!" He argued, and Patton sighed with a fond smile as he realized the pairs arguing was about to continue.

"That's only because you falsely believe every living thing is in love with you when in reality it is only you." Logan responses, giving up on trying to shove Roman off of him. Roman gasped in mock offense, about to defend myself when a new voice joined in.

"He's right," Virgil mumbled tiredly from the other side of the kitchen.

Roman pouted. "You've even managed to turn my own boyfriend against me! How dare you?"

"It's your fault," Virgil complained, making his way over to the three of them and leaning against Roman, wrapping his arms around his boyfriend's waist and joining their long line. "You left me out there to freeze. How could you?"

Before Roman could respond Patton cut them all off, chuckling at his friends silly arguments. "Alright, alright, I finished making food so it's time for us to all get along. If you don't, then you don't get any breakfast."

"Oh, come on," Roman laughed. "You'd never do that to us."

"You're right," Patton shook his head with a smile. "But you guys should still get along!"

After everyone had agreed to have an argument free breakfast the four of them each got their plates, once again ending up on the couch in the same spots as before. However, instead of watching Disney movies while they at the friends simply talked and enjoyed their time together. Patton ended up going silent at some point, just listening in to everyone talking and smiling widely as he thought once more about how lucky he was to have the best friend group in the world.

His mind wandered briefly to how amazing it would be to wake up like this every morning, surrounded by wonderful friends who were comfortable with each other and cared so much about each other. He wished that he could wake up like this all the time, and felt slightly disappointed as he realized they would all be leaving later on in the day again, and he would be alone.

However, he forced himself not to dwell on that thought and instead to simply enjoy the moment. Right now, in this moment, Patton was surrounded by friends who he absolutely adored, and who adored him just as much. It was the perfect moment, and not a single thing in the entire world could ruin it for him.
