Logan was slightly relieved when he found that Patton was the only other student in his friend group that had arrived at school when he did. It wasn't that he didn't want to see Roman or Virgil, he had simply hoped to catch Patton alone first. Since they got back to school he had been hoping to take his boyfriend on a date, and it seems he finally had that chance.

"Good morning," Patton greeted with a smile once he noticed Logan approaching.

"Good morning," Logan smile back, and Patton raised an eyebrow at him.

"You never smile in the mornings. What's up with you?" He interrogated jokingly. Logan rolled his eyes, still smiling fondly at Patton.

"I am simply happy to get to see my boyfriend. Is this unusual? I thought most people were happy to see their loved ones." Logan retorted, and Patton pretended to think for a moment. Then he simply shrugged, wide smile back yet again.

"Okay, fine." He gave in. "So are you saying that is really the only reason for your unexpectedly good mood?"

"Well, I may have also been about to ask you to join me on a date. Which may have also boosted my mood just a small bit." Logan admitted.

"That makes more sense," Patton laughed, but after a moment gave a small, sheepish smile. "That does sound amazing Logan, and I'd love to do that soon!"

"But?" Logan raised an eyebrow, trying to hide his slight disappointment.

"But I was really hoping to hang out with Roman and Virgil today too! There's this new movie I really wanna see with all three of you!" Patton chewed his lip nervously, and frowned. "Is that okay? We can still go, if you don't want to-"

"That's perfectly fine," Logan cut him off with what he hoped to be a reassuring smile. "I've missed them too, Pat. I get it. At least we won't be completely apart."

"You're sure? I've missed them too, but I've also missed being with you! I don't mind going." Patton asked again, and Logan nodded.

"I'm sure. So, what is this movie about?"

Logan found himself more excited than he had thought he would be when school was over and he got to see his friends. He wasn't at all disappointed anymore at not being able to be alone with his boyfriend, and instead was glad it had worked out this way. He hadn't been lying when he said he missed his friends too, and any chance to see them outside of school was nice.

The movie Patton had chosen was also very enjoyable. Although, Logan was paying attention to his boyfriend through most of it, especially when he leaned his head into Logan's shoulder and cuddled into his side. He simply couldn't help but admire his boyfriend's actions. He was simply too precious to process at times.

It was way too soon when the credits appeared on screen and the four had to leave the theatre. None of them wanted to part ways just yet; there was still so much to talk about, so much to do. They were all prepared to say their goodbyes when suddenly Patton lit up.

"Wait! Why don't you guys come stay the night at my house? My parents never mind having you, and then we won't have to leave!" He suggested, grinning proudly. The others lit up at this as well.

"We have to inform our parents first, but that is a wonderful idea Patton." Roman said with a smile.

"Yes, spending more time with all of you is a pleasant idea." Logan started, immediately being laughed at by Roman.

"You could just say you like hanging out with us, nerd. No need to make it all complicated." Roman teased, and Logan rolled his eyes.

"Well, if you were able to comprehend what I meant then clearly there is no need for me to put it in a different way. I believe my statement was perfectly fine." Logan defended. The two continued to bicker back and forth teasingly, and Virgil and Patton both shared an amused look. Without saying a word they both agreed to start heading to Patton's house, waiting for their respective boyfriends to realize they were being left and catch up. When they did finally realize Patton and Virgil broke out into a run, and their journey home soon turned into a race.

Patton arrived first, soon followed by Roman and Logan. Both immediately broke out into yet another argument about who made it first despite being there at the exact same moment, Patton shaking his head at them and waiting for Virgil to catch up. The darkly dressed teen had refused to keep running very quickly, despite Patton's house being close to the theatre, and was slowly trailing behind all of them. When he finally arrived he joined in on the argument, telling them to shut up because neither of them were first anyways. When Logan and Roman complained that Patton didn't count because he had a head start Patton finally jumped in to end the arguing, laughing and telling them to just give it up and come inside.

The three of them begrudgingly agreed, entering Patton's home for the first time in a while. They were immediately greeted by a very excited Marshmallow-Patton's fluffy white dog who could probably knock one of them over if he wanted to. Patton immediately greeted the dog in a silly voice, petting him while the dogs tail waved back and forth in excitement. The three immediately forgot about their silly argument as they took in the adorable sight, laughing and joining Patton in petting Marshmallow, who very much enjoyed the attention.

"So, what are we all planning on doing now that we're here?" Virgil questioned, glancing at the others who didn't seem to have an answer.

"We could always watch more movies!" Patton suggested, and not having any other suggestions that's exactly where the four ended up. Curled on the couch with Disney movies in the background, each of them cuddled close into a jumble of limbs as they slowly drifted off one by one and leaned against each other. Even Marshmallow who had decided to join them by stretching out over all of them had fallen asleep by now.

Patton managed to stay awake the longest, no longer paying the movie any attention as he instead looked towards his sleeping friends. He had missed them all so much, and having them over all night was the best thing he could have possibly wished for. Even if they hadn't spoken much, and even though they were now asleep, he cherished every second he was able to see them.

He loved them more than anything or anyone in the world, and he wished they could stay together like this all the time. As Patton's eyes grew heavy and he slowly drifted off along with them, they were all he could think about.

I feel like this could have been better but then again I stayed up till 8AM to write it so that may be why lmao. Hope you like it anyways! Also I did not plan on adding Marshmallow into this previously but it just kind of happened and now I love him and he will be in the story more bc puppies okay

Like really I just had them go in the house and was like "y'know what'd make this scene better? A big fluffy doggo" and so, Marshmallow has become a character.

Now I've been excited for the next chapter since I first began planning this out so I will be staying up even longer to finally get to write this, thanks for reading-

Take care of yourselves. Bye!-Bob
