'I do know what the Parallel Universe Theory is. It's a theory that implies that this Universe I lived in and this Universe right here is one of many. It also means that another me exists in another Universe.' I said, giving her my answer quite briefly.
'Well, I guess that's not a Theory anymore, suppose you get back to your home safely.' she says. I didn't realize that until she told me, I guess it is true all this time and we never knew about it. I jumped all excited about it until she repeats her statement, 'Home safely.'
'Okay, how do we do that? Is it even possible at this point?' I asked.
'Let's get everything straight first. Tell me how you got here.' she asked me to discuss the procedures.
'It's quite a long story but I'll shorten it out for you. I invented the machine that can open up a Time Portal in the vast stellar of my Universe. As you can already see, it opened up a Space Portal instead of a Time Portal and it leads me to here.' I do admit, the story was way longer but this is all she has to know.
She thinks in her head, confused about something I said. 'How did you open the Portal?' she asks, eyes fixated to mine with investigating stare.
'I used a circuit made of extremely-stable Titanium, heavily-charged Gold, and vastly-heated Nickel. I spun them around at 5,000 rpm, took me 2 hours to reach that speed and another 30 mins to maintain it's stability. With the 3 Elements spinning around fast, it creates a vacuum as big as a basketball because it swirls out any matter that sticks to it, and because of their condition, the 3 Elements maintains in-shape.' I took a break to breathe and to remember the process.
'Okay, how stable was the Titanium? How electrically charged was the Gold? And how heated was the Nickel?' she asked me. I was thinking really hard, like, way harder than anyone could. You see, a normal person would have at least 10% or so of their brain power, well I have 34%, the scientists back home were not sure why, I don't even know myself but back to the topic.
'The Titanium's atoms were severely and completely compressed to its limit. The Gold was charged in the storm of Jupiter, surprised? The Nickel was heated at the core of Mercury. We were able to get them back in shape, wasn't all perfect though. Took us some months to complete it but we did it.' I answered the questions she asked, mocking her of how brilliant my people are back home, hmph.
'Okay, that wasn't enough to open up a portal. How did you do it?' she asks.
'Back to the basics, the 3 Elements we used came from an Ocean Exo-planet a few light-years away from Earth, back at my home. The depths of its oceans were deep, but there were some elements down its core. The project of collecting its elements started in 1986 and by 2016, NASA managed to grab some elements back to Earth. The element was called Ice 7 and we combined it separately with Titanium, Gold, and Nickel.' I told her, she started righting down some things on her NotePad. Interesting.
'Nothing is too special about that. Just an Element from another planet, that's it.' she said.
'Well, they were the things that opened a vacuum in deep pressure. The machine operated 90 feet below the surface. Back in 2014, a meteorite we named Arcanium landed on the Pacific Ocean. It had the capability of sending things back in time. You see, we did some experiments on it. I dropped a penny on it's left side once and it disappeared from plain sight once it reached the meteorite and after 5 mins, the penny appeared back at my hand. One of my co-workers dropped a paper clip on the right side and after 3 mins, it appeared next to it, broken and rusted. We speculated that the left side of the Arcanium brings the items back in time and the one in the right side brings items forward in time.' I said, leaving some gaps of silence because of my thinking brain's tired state.
'What was the shape of the Arcanium when you used it?' she asked.
'We shaped it as a Cube, 9 in x 9 in. Note that only a group of 5 people worked on it including me.' I replied back, answering her question.
'If you can just go through the thing without any of those 3 Elements, why did you have to use them?' she asked. She probably didn't know why, oh wait, she really doesn't.
'Well, first of all, the 3 Elements were used to act as an artificial power source for it. Let's name the 3 Elements the Grand Materials. The Grand Materials were there so it can conduct the Arcanium, making the portal the Arcanium creates bigger. It also helps that the portal only expands in a vacuum. The amount of rpm will be equivalent to how many years I go back to as well.' I answered back.
'You were planning on going back 5,000 years into the future?' she asked with judgmental eyes. 'Did you use the left side or the right side?' she asked.
'The right side. We wanted to see the future, me as a test subject.' I still remember how we decided about who will go in first, and it wasn't pleasant. It ended up as me.
'I'm going to do a little recap. You spun the Grand Elements to make a vacuum and to conduct the power of the Arcanium. By conducting the power of the Arcanium, you shaped a portal out of its power, big enough to fit a person in and you went inside. Am I right?' she said. She actually explained it a lot better.
'Yeah, wouldn't have said it better. This is just how we do back home, we lose some brain power when we get tired.' I complained about my rising dose of sleepiness.
'Last question of the day, how did you set the machine up?' she asked.
'Well, I positioned the Grand Element's spin on an electric fan position and placed the right side of the Arcanium on its face. A portal showed up behind it, glowing green and I went in. I ended up here.' I said.
'The Arcanium obviously didn't open a Time Portal. It opened up a Space Portal.' she said. I think to myself, of course I know that, I'm the first witness of it, lady. 'It opened up a wormhole where you traveled through space and got here, of course, the Arcanium, for some reason, sucked your other you into your own world.' she continued her statement.
'Correct. Now, my friends might still think that the Arcanium still open up Time Portals and my other me might be killing all of them.' I say, wow that sounded depressing.
'Just relax. What's important is that you discovered a new thing and this is just a part of Trial and Error.' she said. I calm myself down to the point where I wanted to go to sleep.
'I feel sleepy, I should go get some rest.' I tell her. 'Why are you even helping me by the way? Just curious.' I ask her because of my curiosity.
'I've seen what your other you do and I really don't want it to happen to someone else, although it does, that other guy still belongs to custody. Plus, I won't let an innocent guy like you go through terror.' she said. She escorts me into my room and entered it with me. I lay on the bed and covered myself with the blanket.
'I really hope that you're really who you say you are. I really hope that the thing with the phone earlier wasn't just because you threw that one out.' she said. Her saying that gives me creeps.
'I wonder why you got the conclusion that it wasn't my other me when you first rang the other guy's phone.' I ask her.
'Because that phone was too powerful to throw out, it even has a component from a meteorite that came from the outer space.' she said. I fell asleep and she went outside. The last statement circulating my mind.
