'Yeah, put it in the laboratory safely please.' I said to the Assistant. I was expecting the process to be a bit slower but, alright. Why should I complain?
'What else do we need?' Blake asked.
'Well, I did the a negative power enriched highly-electrified Cobalt Bar while the Assistant was gone on that Solar Flare mission. All we need now is a dwarf planet. This mission will actually be a 2-in-1, I ran an X-ray on the dwarf planet 'Cerberus' and it seems to have a strong magnet which might be able to affect other planets if we try.' I said. It's a good thing the Assistant can imitate the space telescope and can use it very effectively.
'Wonderful news. Isn't Cerberus farther than Mars, though?' Blake asked. Back in my own dimension, Cerberus was a provisional designation 1971 UA, it is a stony asteroid and a near-Earth object of the Apollo group, approximately 1.6 kilometers in diameter. It was discovered on 26 October 1971. However, Cerberus is a dwarf planet between Mars and Saturn. Weird right? Jupiter is the last planet here.
'Yeah. I don't think our AI machines can go on another mission as it just finished one. I think we should be the one who goes there.' I said. I have the feeling that she won't agree.
'Sure. Just make sure the Assistant will keep watch on the other you. We really don't want to allow him doing something we don't know.' she said. I am surprised. Shocked. Oh, well. I need to make sure every systems are working.
'On it, give me 10 mins. You should go prepare the ship, you decide which one we will use.' I said. Better do this quickly, the magnet might dissipate if we don't get to it sooner.
'Alright, noted. Meet me at the launch pads downstairs when you're done.' she suggested. I think we really need to bring an Assistant, at least one. Whatever, I'm bringing one.
I stayed inside of the room while Blake went downstairs. 'Assistant, take over the monitoring system and lock onto a person who looks like me. Monitor and take notes about what he is doing and what he seems to be planning. Is that clear?' I told it. I sound like a boss telling his employees a project.
'As clear as a crystal, sir.' it responded.
'Create another clone that will do that and the original one will come with me.' I asked one more time. After a few minutes, the original clung into my wrist and a clone took over. Time to go downstairs and operate on the used ship.
I walked into the elevator, went downstairs, and met up with Blake. She seems to be operating on the other small ship, I wonder why she didn't want to use the big one.
'Hi, Blake!' I said while waving.
'Hello. This ship is almost prepared, you might've forgotten to release the pressure inside of the other ship. It needs maintenance as soon as possible.' she said. Jeez, woman. I'm on it.
'Yeah, this will only take like 5 mins.' I responded.
I came closer to it and there it is, the severed parts. A lot of worn out cables and burnt circuits, oh dear. I deactivated the clone of the Assistant and shot it back at the original. 'Assistant, restabilize the ship and repair any damage. Report it to me when I ask you.' I said.
'Got it.' it responded. This AI Assistant is getting closer and closer to thinking like a real human, it scares me.
'It's done, Blake. Are we ready to blast off?' I said as I approach her.
'I've been finished for the past 5 mins or so, just taking some break time.' she responded. To be fair, it is a harsh work to prepare a ship, even a small one.
She signalled to me to go in and I did. I followed her to the cockpit which, by the way, is huge. She sat at the left seat and I sat at the right. Might've been Travis' old seat. I still wonder about where he is now.
'You ready to blast off?' she asked.
'Yeah. In 10, 9...' I was cut off short as she pushed the button unexpectedly. I think she might want to give me a heart attack or something. I sat in silence.
'Now exiting the Earth's atmosphere. Oxygen tanks, operating.' I heard the Artificial Intelligence Bot running this thing. She might've copied it from my Assistant and I don't really mind.
'Good stuff.' I said as Blake sank down her seat.
'You didn't tell me how this machine will work, can you tell me how?' Blake asked, trying to change the subject. No harm in avoiding that voice thing, might as well just answer.
'Basically, the batteries field with the Solar Flare will act as its energy. The negative powered negative power enriched highly-electrified Cobalt Bar will act as the tool used to direct the power to a single point. The dwarf planet will serve as the backup, just in case we teleported something in this dimension that we don't want. The strong magnet that can hinder other planet's Magnetic Field will serve as the transmitter from this dimension to my own home. The loophole will be the door to that place.' I said as we fly around space, Blake controlling the ship as she listens.
'Question. How do we get a loophole?' she asked.
'Good question. I found one just above the laboratory.' I said. Loopholes here revolve around a planet for a short span of 2 years and will travel away afterward. How did I know? Thank the Assistant for that.
'So, if you look to your left, you'll see Mars. If you look straight, you can see the Saturn's vertical ring.' she said to break the silence forming. Wait, Saturn has a vertical ring here?
'Okay. Where's Cerberus though?' I asked.
'Can't you see it? We're just above it at the moment.' she replied and at that moment, I looked outside the window and there it is. Cerberus.
It kinda looks just like Pluto but it contains an ideal factor in our experiment. Better go down there quick.
