People take advantage of everything.
Money, wealth and even more.
But innocence, that's much, much worse.
I once was a child too.
With a loving parents and relatives. I was their apple of the eye. The gem in their eyes.
I love being tucked to sleep with my father and mother reading a fairytale story to me. I love how the prince always save the princess.The word "And they lived happily ever after" was the best part for me.
I once was a child who know nothing of the outside world. Not knowing the darkness that was held by people who smiled at you warmly. The people who your parents trust and the people you believe that will protect you.
And then they came, the witch and the bad big wolf and every 4 year old child was frightened of. They came rushing through the door and held hands while chatting happily with your parents.
And you, you who rushed to give them a hug, a smooch from the cheek and gave the brightest smile to them
You without worries, without nightmares plaguing your sleep. No smoke, beer nor drugs numbing you from the pain.
I once was a child who know nothing of the harsh reality that we lived in.
Until they ripped it away from me.
