y/n and richie are dating and are a couple for a year and a half. when y/n came to richie's life, everything was rainbows and unicorns as well as with y/n. lately, richie seems a bit off. he'd call y/n less unlike the past months, he'd always call her, likewise as y/n. their calls would only last for a minute and sometimes, richie would just call her for school stuff. he'd cancel some dates because of his errands, hanging out with his friends (the losers), and many more lies that would make y/n believe in it. y/n found him suspicious so, she tried to call him and explained everything. richie replied with a depressed tone and said that life has been more stressed out lately. typical y/n believed in him and comforted him, with richie replying a bunch of "okay"s. y/n missed richie alot. but now, he's just a shadow.

richie loved hanging out with his friends. he'd always ask for y/n's permission to go hang out with them, and with y/n agreeing on it. she didn't mind it because she just wants him to be happy. even if she's not happy with it, she doesn't care that much. now noah, y/n's childhood friend was visiting derry & y/n would like to meet up with him so, she asked for richie's permission. they were currently cuddling at y/n's house and y/n asked:
"hey babe can i go meet with noah tomorrow?" y/n asked sitting down and fixing her position, facing richie. "no" richie replied coldly, not making eye contact with y/n. "please rich? i haven't seen him in like-" "y/n i said no!" richie cut her off with a serious tone. the two continued the conversation that turned into a loud argument, which ended with richie saying "i'm sorry. i was jealous. i love you" kind of apology. that's how their small arguments would end. promising each other that they'll love each other til the end. y/n forgave him and didn't mind the pain she was experiencing right now. when richie left her house, y/n broke down and curled herself into a ball, crying til midnight.

y/n soon found out that richie was cheating on her with y/f/n and let me tell you. it was not good. y/n cried everynight, crashing and throwing her stuff against the wall and stays up all night thinking, that he does not love you like he promised. everytime richie would go out to see her, her heart breaks and tears start to form in her eyes. she was good at forcing herself not to cry. until she had enough. she went to see richie and told him that they should break up. she knew, he was shocked. his heart broke and he was filled with guilt, anger, and sadness. as richie watched y/n walked away, he canmt bare not to see you, because he needed you. and you needed him. before you even met, you were two broken kids that came from a broken family that who knew, would also break each other. you thought wrong when you said he will heal you. that was only a short period of time. and that bittersweet package came from a boy. your boy, richie tozier. who is sure as hell, ain't honest.
