it was 10 pm and y/n just got home from work. she plopped down the couch in her and finn's shared apartment that they have been staying in for 5 months. finn came down when he realized she got home already.
"hey baby, how's work?" finn placed his arm around y/n and pecked me on the cheek. "tired" the girl replied coldly, scooting away from finn and laying down to take a nap. "hey what's wrong do you want to talk about it?" finn asked worryingly, like the boyfriend he is. "no" she replied while her eyes are closed. finn didn't want to wait until morning, again to hear about her problems. it's been 3 days since she's been coming home late and not talking to him, sure they'll talk in the morning but only for 30 minutes because of work. and finn was honestly tired of it. he just wanted the best for y/n. "y/n please? i want to help you-" "JUST SHUT UP, LEAVE ME WILL YOU?" y/n stood up and raised her voice without realizing it. "leave i'm just trying to help you y/n! you're a mess!" finn spat back trying to be calm as possible as he can. "ohh i'm the mess? i'm the one who's working her ass off to keep us alive finn!"
"you know what, i'm done. you can sleep downstairs" finn ended the argument, not wanting to say anything he'll regret. y/n took a tad of time to process what just happened. she realized that she just released all her anger from work to finn, and it was wrong. so she decided to go upstairs to talk to him. she learned from her mom to never wait until morning to resolve a fight.
"finn? baby can we please talk?" y/n knocked on the door softly. she can hear soft sniffles from finn, he was crying. he was crying not only because he 'hurt' her in some way, but he's afraid that she might leave. y/n opened the door and saw finn laying on one side of the bed, covered in blankets. y/n sat down to where finn was laying and so, finn got up. "i'm sorry i let out all my anger on you,i didn't mean it i swear. i'm just really tired because i'm the one who's trying, hell almost carrying the business and yet i'm being blamed for not doing a good job? i'm just, really tired finn. and i do wish that i could spend just one day with you not thinking about work, i'm sorry if i hurt you." tears were already forming in her eyes as she bowed down her head. finn pulled her close, hushing the poor girl who's been tired and all. "shh please don't cry y/n, you know how it hurts to see you cry. and it's okay i completely understand. you could have told me so i can help you. i'm sorry i didn't know." finn kissed her head softly as y/n cried in his chest while him, hushing her. "tell you what, why don't you take a leave til friday, and we can spend the day however you like it?"
"even if we sleep all day?"
"even if we sleep all day."
"finn i don't deserve you" y/n smiled softly
"you deserve a good rest y/n, that's what matters"
"i love you"
"i love you too baby"
