     Saturday, October 16, 1897

Ethan, Mark, Tyler and Jack were having a meeting about the next money and supply train that would be coming through soon. They were going to plan some sort of huge robbery for when it came, (Y/n) begged to be a part of it, but Ethan didn't want her to be a part of it. So, she was left all alone while they talked about the plans.

"So, when is the train even comin' through?" Ethan asked Mark as he stood against a nearby tree with his arms crossed.

"The train is supposed to go through Mercer Bridge today at exactly noon. Tyler and Jack will find a way to slow the train down to a stop while you and I get on," Mark states looking between all three boys pointing out each of their jobs for them.

"What about Ethan's little girly-friend?" Tyler questioned from his seat on the tree stump. Ethan looked over to his friend giving him a warning glare.

"Don't push it," Ethan growled a little from under his breath to only get nudged by Mark, Ethan looked to Mark and sighed before easing himself back to a calm state to listen to the rest of the plan.

"She can come on the train with Ethan and I, we don't want her to get hurt by any lawmmen that could come by, it would be best if she stayed with us," Ethan looked hesitantly to Mark. He didn't know what to say, he didn't want her to even come in the first place, but he has no say in what Mark says unless he asks for his opinion. He just has to go with whatever he says basically. "Meetin' over! I'm goin' to go eat!" Mark exclaims and marches off excitedly to the fire with Tyler following behind. Now it was just Ethan and Jack all alone.

"Ethan..." Jack softly spoke as he looked up to his friend with a serious yet worried look. "If anythin' happens on that trip promise me that ye won't give up, ye will keep tryin' and do what is right not what is wrong..." Ethan looked to his friend confused and sat beside him on the grass.

"What are you talkin' about? Nothin' will happen Jacky."

"I just have a weird feelin' about tomorrow and I don't know what to make of it so, I am just goin' to go with what me gut is sayin'. If anything happens I want you and (Y/n) to make it out alive, I don't care if I have to risk me life because I will do it. Ye deserve to be happy Ethan especially after all that has happened to ya, the world has done you wrong far to long." Ethan was silent by his friends words, he knew he was serious, but he did not know what made him just think like this out of nowhere. "Just don't give up if somethin' happens; if ye do find Signe on your journeys to wherever life may take you tell her I said I missed her and that I will find her someday when she reaches the other side."

"Jack, stop talkin' like that. Nothin' bad will happen to anyone, I will make sure of it." Ethan pulled Jack into a tight hug as tears fell down Jack's now closed eyes. Ethan sighed remembering all the promises he had made to his sister, he couldn't keep those promises and he wasn't going to break these even if it costed his own life to do it.

Meanwhile the Marshall had called Amy into his office for a small chat about where she might know about where Mark and the others might be hiding or planning. She didn't know what they were planning, but she did know where their hideout was located.

"Amy, do you know why I called you in here this fine mornin'?" He asked his young daughter who stood in front of his desk with her hands clasped together in front of her.

"To ask me about where my sister and her little gang is? Well I don't know where they are so if you will excuse me I have to go cook dinner-" she was about to leave but, Matt blocked the doorway closin' her in so she could not leave the building. Marshall stood from his chair and walked around his desk up to his daughter with his hand firmly on his pistol. Amy was terrified as she back up a bit to show both her father and the deputy in her line of sight.

"I know what you want to do to her... you want to kill her just like you did to mom! Well you know what I made my promises with (Y/n) and I am not goim' to break them, go on kill me because I ain't telling you shit!" Amy shouted, Marshall grabbed her by her arm and threw her into the nearest seat, he pulled his gun from his holster and held it to her temple.

"Stop protectin' her!" He shouted at her making her shrink a little into her seat.

"I ain't just protectin' her and Ethan, I'm not lettin' you hurt the other guys as well! Just kill me because even if you don't I will never tell you." Amy closed her eyes awaiting for the impact of the bullet through her skull. The room grew silent as the Marshall contemplated on whether to do it or not, she had told his secret about killing her mother. How did she even know it was him in the first place? He took in a sharp breath and let it out as he spoke.

"I never killed your mother Amy, she died of the Pox, I am sorry..." then he pulled the trigger, the gun jerked a little at the movement from the impact. He looked to his deputy who had wide eyes at his boss. "Now lets end this apocalypse, get a hold of G tell him we need him here as soon as possible." The deputy just obliged and ran to the desk where the old phone sat, he quickly picked up both ends and made the call the Marshall had ordered him to do. Matt was starting to get worried about his bosses mental health but still did what he said because he was his boss after all. He just witnessed him kill his own child without hesitation.

"He is on his way sir," the deputy said with a quiet voice, the Marshall nodded and walked over to the window sill running his fingers along the wood. A smirk appeared on his lips as he watched his people walk and ride along the streets.

"Watch your back Ethan... Because you better be prepared when the storm hits and destroys what you have built."
