A world without you

Chapter 7 - Hiccup's POV

I could still remember that day, exactly a year ago, the day when I woke up from the coma.
Even though I was in coma for most of the day it was the best day in my life. On that day I finally told Astrid that I loved her and she had said the same to me, and today it was our anniversary.
I had it all planed out. We would take our dragons for a ride and then fly to this beautiful island where we would spend the day. I had worked it out with Heather and Fishlegs so they would be in charge for the Edge. Both Astrid and I weren't supposed to leave the Edge at the same time but this was an exception.
We were ready to fly and the others stood beside us to say goodbye. Astrid hugged Heather and then she jumped up on Stormfly.
"Thanks guys." I said to Fishlegs and Heather
"Nothing to talk about." Fishlegs answered
Then we flied away.
"So where are we going?" Astrid asked me.
"Come on, you know that it's a surprise!" I said
"I know but I wanna know!"
"I don't think you know what the word surprise means " I laughed
She made a grumpy face but laughed too after a little while.

"We're here!" I said a while later. We flew over the island.
"Oh Hiccup, It's beautiful!" She said stunned
We landed on the perfect place. It was a small place in the woods without any trees, to or right it was a waterfall and on the ground I had fixed a perfect picnic with all her favorite foods.
I held my hands before her eyes so that she couldn't see my surprise. When I took away them she just stood there quiet.
"Oh Hiccup..." She said holding her hand against her lips
"Do you don't like it?" I said worried. She laughed and kissed me.
"Even though you are one of the smartest men I know you can be really stupid sometimes." She laughed and kissed me again.
