I turned around and couldn't breathe. It was like the fear and love had stuck in my throat like a lump stopping the air from filling my lungs.
"Astrid?" I asked with a shaky voice.
In the corner sat a small human shaking. She looked up at me and there was my Astrid, small, pale and thin. I ran towards her and fell down on my knees before her.
"Astrid." I held her in my arms harder than ever before.
"I'm so sorry. I'm sorry that I didn't came before. I'm sorry that you got captured." I cried and so did she
"you're here. You're here. You're here." She repeated those two words over and over again and cried. We sat so for Thor knows how long until Fishlegs interrupted us.
"Um... I know that this is a sensitive moment for you but I want to see if Astrid is hurt." He said
"Yeah of course." I said and let go of her
"It's okay Fishlegs. I'm not hurt." Astrid said
"Let him be the judge of that." Heather decided and hugged Astrid
"Oh I have missed you so much. Everything was weird without you." Heather sighed
"I'm sorry. I should've been more careful when we left the boats that day." Astrid said as my heart broke.
"No it wasn't your fault. It's all my fault. I should've saved you instead of doing nothing. I'm so sorry for what you have been through." I said . She just looked on me with tears in her eyes and then hugged me.
"It's not your fault." She just said
"Okay. Let me see if something's wrong with you." Fishlegs said and went to her
" Well you are very undernourished and you have a few wounds." He said
"What has he done to you?" I asked
"Well I'm not exactly sure. These past weeks have just been a big mess and I have past out sometimes." She explained
"Past out!? Why?" I asked worried with raised voice. My anger towards Viggo just grew with every thought of what he could have done to my girlfriend.
"Well I think that it is mostly because of that I haven't slept very much." She shrugged and I hugged her.
"Well you're safe now. We have a plan. Sleep." I said
"Okay." I kissed her forehead as she fell asleep in my arms.
