Chapter 30 - Hiccup's POV

"Please mom come back with us to Berk." I begged my mom as I had done every night for the past days.
"I don't know..." She answered unsure
"We could be a family again." I said
"Your dad..." she tried
"...still loves you." I finished
"Please." I begged and she was quiet for a while before she answered.
"Okay." I hugged her.
"When do we leave?" Heather asked
"Will the day after tomorrow work?" I asked everybody and they nodded. I walked to Astrid where she sat in a corner.
"Nervous?" I asked
"A bit. But I'm happy to meet my parents again." she said
"Of course."
"Have you met them while I was gone?" She asked. I looked away a bit ashamed. I hadn't met her parents, I hadn't had the strength, I couldn't meet the parents to the girl that I had failed to save.
"No, I'm sorry but..." I tried to explain but she stopped me
"It's okay. If it had been you, I had never been able to look Stoick in the eyes again."  She said and put her hand over mine.
"Nervous over your mom meeting Stoick again?" She asked compassionate
"A bit but not much. I think that it's finally time for us to get a break and live calm a life...with dragons." I smiled and put my arm around her but her face got a dark expression.
"What?" I said worried
"Viggo is still alive. I don't know if we're ever going to get a calm life when he's somewhere making plans." I had been so happy to find Astrid again that I had forgot Viggo but she was right of course, he was still out there waiting to ruin our lives again. Even though I got Astrid back I still wanted to kill him. I think Astrid was thinking the same thing.
A man like Viggo was too dangerous. We need a plan.
"Let's not think about just now and be happy that we'll be home soon." I said
"Home." She sighed happily and hugged me.
