"Oh nothing special. Just to at last finish what I started and get rid of Hiccup once and for all."
"I won't let you hurt him." I said determined as I stared back at Viggo.
"You won't have a choice, dear Astrid." He told me with a triumphant smile. I heard something from behind and saw a dozen dragon hunters coming out from the forest behind us. Heather, Valka and Ruffnut stood ready to face them while I still  stood with my back towards them, face to face with Viggo.
"I will always have a choice and I will always choose to protect Hiccup." I told him angrily.
"Even when you're dead?" He raised an eyebrow triumphant at me. I didn't understand what he meant and that worried me but I wasn't going to let him see that.
"I don't plan on dying anytime soon." I snapped.
"Oh, isn't that what they all say? Well, I guess it's just another matter to fix." He shrugged and kept his creepy smile as he talked, it seemed to say that he had already won.
"But as you said; you failed to kill me." I told him
"I thought better of you, Astrid, than to be so foolish to think that I didn't have a plan B when I stabbed you." He chuckled. I felt like if ice spread through my stomach and up to my throat.
"Astrid, what does he mean?!" Heather asked worried as she still stood face to face with a dragon hunter waiting for him to make the first move.
"I don't know." I answered uncertain.
"Then let me explain, the knife you were stabbed with was poisoned." I heard someone gasp behind me and guessed that it was Valka.
"Then why am I not dead already?" I asked him. I wanted desperately for him to admit that he made it all up to make me more vulnerable, but something told me that he wasn't making it up.
"It's a extremely rare kind of poison, it weakens the victim more and more over time until it finally kills it. About a year has passed for you if I remember correctly, that means that time should be running out for you." He explained keeping his triumphant little smile.
"You're lying!" Ruffnut yelled desperately behind me.
"You won't succeed, Viggo, we will find a cure." Valka ensured him but he only chuckled
"But that's the thing, there is no cure." The ice spread to my heart.
"And when Hiccup sees you die without being able to do a thing for the second time he will finally be completely destroyed and there will be easy to get rid of him once and for all."
"No!" I screamed out in pure rage and attacked him. My axe met his sword in a loud bang. Behind me I could hear the others and the dragons fighting off the dragon hunters but I was to busy with defending myself against Viggo.
We fought axe against sword, man against woman and I could tell you, the long dress wasn't helping. Then I heard the sound of dragons coming closer. I looked up and saw Hiccup, Stoick, Tuffnut, Fishlegs, Snoutlout, Mom and Dad on their dragons.
Somehow had our fight gotten me and Viggo to the very edge of the island. Only a few steps behind him were the sea and a few cliffs and a high fall that would almost definitely kill you.
"You won't succeed..." I said as I hit with the axe.
"We will find a cure..." Another hit as our weapons met again.
"And me and Hiccup will live a long happy life..." For a moment he almost got me, his sword flashed and I almost didn't have the time to fend it off. But that was when Stormfly had enough. She shot one of her spines and it hit Viggo in the leg. He stumbled a few steps back and fell off the cliff but I managed to get a hold of him so he hung from the cliff. I struggled to keep him from falling down.
"And you won't be able to ruin our lives ever again." I told him but kept my hold of him.
"I'll get you up, if you leave here and never disturb us or hunt dragons again." I bargained. He thought for a moment. But just as I heard Toothless land on the ground behind me Viggo swung his sword at me. I had to let go of him to avoid his sword.
And Viggo fell down and hit the surface of the sea with a big splash before he disappeared forever.
