Chapter 24 - Hiccup's POV

"Who are you?" I yelled at the rider. The rider didn't answer me. Toothless was ready to defend us.
"Who are you?!?" I yelled louder. The rider got of the dragon and started walking towards me. The rider had a helmet so I couldn't see the face but I think that she looked at me.
"Who are you?"
The rider was in front of me now.
"Hiccup?" The rider asked and removed her helmet. It was a woman with long brown hair. She looked like she was in my fathers age. I couldn't remember ever seeing her but at the same time she looked familiar.
"Eh..." I was so stunned that I couldn't say anything else
"Could it really be? After all these years? How is this possible?" She asked. What was this?
"Should...should I know you?" I asked
"No, you were only a baby..." She looked at me ashamed and sad
"...but a mother never forgets." she looked up at me. Then I got it. She looked familiar because I had her hair and her eyes.
A million thoughts went through my head at the same time. Was this my Mother? Was she alive? Where had she been for 20 years?
"Are you my mother?" I asked and she nodded
"Oh Thor." I said and sat down on a rock. She calmly put her hand on my shoulder and said
"Come" and walked away. I followed her
"Where are you going?" I asked
"come." she just repeated
"You can't just walk away like that!" I said
"I have questions! Where have you been? Everyone said that you were dead! Hey!"
I ran up to her and saw hundreds of dragons flying around. I had never seen so many before!
"Is it here you have been? For twenty years?" I asked
"Yes." She looked at me with tears in her eyes.
"What happened that night?"
"That night the men fought against the dragons on Berk. I didn't think that killing was the right way. Dragons was maybe not so different from us. Then I saw how one dragon broke into our house where you was alone asleep. I ran as fast as I could with a axe in my hands, ready to do everything to protect you but when I came into the room I saw the dragon just standing there looking at you with a deep expression. The dragon reached out a claw against you and you took it in your hand. He didn't hurt you, no he just held your hand. That proved everything i stood for and more. Then your father came from nowhere with his axe and scared the dragon so that he accidentally made a cut on your chin and took me and flied away."
She told me. I touched my scar and thought trough everything she had said
"How did you survive?"
"Oh Cloudjumper never wanted to harm me. He took me here." I looked at her stunned.
"You've been rescuing all these dragons?" I asked and she nodded
"Unbelievable." I whispered amazed
"You're not upset?" She asked
"What?! No! It's just a bit much to take in. It's not every you find your long lost mom and finds out that she's a crazy dragon lady." I said. She laughed
"At least i'm not boring. Right?" She said with a smile and I smiled back
