======= Parker Residence 4:51am
Madeline opened her eyes, blue light blinding her sight as she squinted in reflex. She held up a hand to shield herself away from the beaming light in front of her and her vision soon adjusted to where she was.
The girl was wearing a simple t shirt and jeans with no shoes or socks on. Not even her bandages were wrapped around her hands, which made her feel frightened a bit.
The young Osborn looked around her, the blinding light came from a floating blue ball of fire radiantly glowing the entire white room she was in. There was nothing else in here with her, just the fire and it's crackling on blue ashes that rose and dissipated.
As she grew closer to the orb of fire, she for some reason, had a warm aura admitted around her, like a shield that pulled her in a safe embrace.
She reached out to the ball of fire, seeing it's small branches of flame reach out back to her finger tips. Her hand glowed a soft baby blue, enveloping the same color as the fire. But once she had touched it, she suddenly had an avalanche of eerie evil whispers scream in her head.
The ball of fire then disappeared, leaving the girl in a room trapped with a ring of igniting, red, hot flames. They pricked and burned at her skin, making sweat beam on her forehead as she tried to find a way out.
But then, when she whipped back around where the ball of blue fire was, in it's place was a steel table and an outline of a man incased in a charred cocoon.
Madeline could feel a human life in this cocoon and he screeched and screeched like an animal would.
"Madeline."
She clutched the sides of her head, begging the screams from the unknown person in their shell to stop. He kept getting louder and louder, thrashing inside as the red burning fire grew larger and larger. The girl felt overwhelmed, helpless to the fact she didn't know what to do.
"Madeline!"
And right as the first branch of red fire touched her arm and burned her skin, she let out a piercing screamed and felt a hand grip the same spot.
The girl shot up from her nightmare, ruffled blankets surrounding her and the hand she felt in her dream disappear. The top bunk of the bunk bed was too low for her height so she ended up hitting her head, creating a small ding noise.
She immediately seethes air through her teeth, clutching the area on her head she accidentally hit.
A worried gasp erupts from Peter who sits on his knees beside her, "Shit, are you okay?!" He places a gentle hand on her right arm—the same spot she got grabbed by a burning hand in her dream—and in result the frightened girl jerks away from him. She presses up against the wall behind her and the messied hair hangs in front of her eyes.
