Hot, burning blue fire enthralled her fists as Madeline projected herself into the sky, making a dead beeline for the electricity storm happening in, what looks to be, Times Square.

Peter was just behind her, swinging away at his webs as he followed her path. She was lighting the way, passing by awing civilians as she cut through air like a rocket.

Some mistook her as Iron Man, so they all recorded on their devices and zoomed in, soon realizing it was a girl. They yelled and cheered for Spider-Man following in close pursuit but questioned who she was.

Maddie could care less though, they had to get to where the epidemic was happening and she was too focused on concentrating on balancing so that she doesn't go spiraling in the air.

She tried to keep her body movement tight as the force carried her away, but that didn't mean she was doing a very good job. Peter noticed how wobbly she became as time went on and talked to her through the earcom he gave before.

"You doin' alright?" He said while detaching a web, only to shoot another at a building in front of him.

"Fine," she tried to respond nonchalantly, looking down at the street about 100 feet away and immediately regretting it. "This is just the second time I've tried to do this for so long. No big deal."

"If you're feeling tired, I can carry you. I-If you want, I mean."

The girl and smiled, not expecting him to see as she spotted the dancing electricity bolts coming closer and booming louder.

"It's alright. Times Square is just ahead anyways."
"Right. You sure you're ready to do this?"

She was silent for a brief moment, thinking about if Harry was behind all this chaos. If he was, there's a chance he'd tried to take her away. She can't have that.

"Ready as I'll ever be."

Madeline aimed her fire at an angle and slowly decreased the flames from a roar to a ongoing rumble. She landed on the street near the opening corner of the bodega and could hear static electric from the other side of a pawn shop.

A white flash neared her and she quickly ran out of the sidewalk and behind an alleyway. A flash of lightning zoomed past her and a muffled yelp escaped her lips as it did so. Another cry joined her and Maddie turned to see a family down the alley, huddling and shaking in fear. They looked at her with wide eyes, pleading for some sort of help.

Her heart ached for them. She wanted to do something help, it was what she was here for anyways.

Peter soon arrived and landed near her with his mask on.

"We need to clear them out," he instructed and another bolt of electricity struck near them all. This time, postmail boxes and a street lamp fell on the ground, shattering glass and the mother's screams echoed down the hall.
