"Extract target," Madeline heard an echoing voice down the dimly lit corridor. She turned, readying herself, to see a line of men in protective uniforms.

They all simultaneously saw her and each of them whipped out a baton.

"Target found. Engage," one of them robotically said and they all walked towards her.

The girl huffed out a breath to make her calm and she raised her fists up for a fight.

The closest man had taken a swing at her head but ultimately missed when she leaned back at perfect timing and countered with a spinning floor kick at his ankles. He fell down in a series of red pixels and glitched away in thin air.

She was still crouched on the ground when she looked up and saw another man raise his baton over his head to strike down. But she was too quick and instead of getting hit, she slid on the floor right below him and touched his boot with her hand.

A blue flame ignited where Maddie touched and the man freaked to see her now behind him. One last kick in the calf sent him on his knees and yelling at the fire spreading quickly. He too disappeared into pixels.

The next man was more buff than the other two but that was no problem for the girl. In a series of swings of a baton, he was too slow in his wound ups and she had a chance to get a punch in the jaw and a jab in the ribs as she dodged circles around him.

At one point where she came behind him, she drew her blue flames to her fist and kicked off the brick wall up in the air. He turned around just to see nothing but fire connect to his cheek and his body turn to red pixels.

For the last one, the man too far to fight and held out a gun straight at her. She had a gut feeling he was going to shoot so she lifted her hands and threw both her flames into balls of hot fiery destruction right as she heard a gunshot.

Her flames had burned so hot that the bullet had turned to nothing—and so did the man.

He blew up into pixels like the rest and she had finally finished the mission. A red flag behind the guy with the gun was standing tall, waiting to be retrieved.

She smiled proudly as she walked over to all its' glory. But suddenly, was stopped when she heard a voice behind her.

"Did you think it would be that easy?"

Madeline groaned and she turned back around to face her final opponent.

Natasha stood down the hall with her red hair curled to her shoulders and wearing her iconic black jumpsuit.
