The sunlight beamed through the windows and a faint sound of birds chirped outside, stirring Peter awake.

He groaned and shifted around in a wooden chair at the corner of the room. He threw the spare blanket he found off his body and rubbed his eyes with his palm.

Peter then sighed as he adjusted his eyes to the shining light that disturbed his sleep. His glance met the still-sleeping form of Madeline. Her short hair was sprawled out in different ways and she unconsciously clutches onto the pillow she lays on.

Peter's mouth parts open a bit as he had a blushing dreamy stare. He had to take a mental picture in his mind, the girl just looked like an angel even with a mild case of bedhead.

He broke away from his gaze, finding to tell himself, stop your being creepy.

His eyes landed on something else though, a brown paper bag rested on the nightstand by the bedroom door. He remembers that not being there the night before and got up to inspect it.

There was a yellow post-it note stuck on the front and Peter took it off to read it.

New prototype for when you're in a rush.
New clothes in the kitchen, bring your girlfriend to the labs Happy will show you where.
Belated B-Day,
Stark

Peter smiled and scoffed at the note and looked at the brown bag again.

"He's gotta work on his gift wrapping skills."

Peter opened it up and looked inside, noticing only two small things. He shook them out and a couple of small, metal, compact disk fell in his hand.

His brows furrowed at them, trying to understand what they were. They did look familiar to the compactors on his webshooters though.

Peter took off his webshooters and flipped them over, comparing them to the objects.

"Huh. Webbing is in there. Thanks Mr. Stark, but I think you forgot about the bands. How am I supposed to wear—?" He put one of the disks on his empty wrists, and suddenly, it transformed and wrapped around his arm automatically.

"—whaaat?" He chuckled and moved around his wrist. The band felt a bit more flexible than his older ones and the button he presses with his middle fingers pop up from the band also.

He didn't the same to his other arm, placing the compact and watching the mechanics almost magically adapt to his wrist.

He gets excited and pressed the middle button and a ball of web shot out in front of him. It splats to the framed art photograph on the wall and sways from the hit.

"The speed and force improved, nice," Peter said to himself. He was so busy admiring his new gifts when he didn't realize the picture frame coming off the nail.
