"Wait. So, you're saying he got past government security?!"
Tony, stared at the boy across from the table with such annoyance when he interrupted his explanation. His eyes were wide with judgement and Madeline was beside him looking between their tension.
Tony had told them there was a breach back at the apartment and a couple of hidden cameras captured none other than Harry Osborn breaking in through the front door.
Tony pressed play on the hologram at the end of the conference table, showing Harry's face covered in rashes and pale as a ghost outside the apartment right before he threw something the camera and it crashed.
Peter was currently taking this news a bit too close to home. Obviously because Harry was the one behind it and he broke into his apartment.
Madeline watched as Peter's fists clenched in his lap as the video then switched to cameras inside the lobby. It showed him talking with his hands up, then suddenly dropping what looked like smoke bombs in front of four guards.
They drowned in green smoke and Harry just walked through like nothing happened.
"What is that stuff?" Madeline asked Tony and Natasha.
Tony sighed deeply and glanced over to Natasha, who gave him a solemn look.
"A month ago, we received a disturbance alert coming from one of the officers," Nat explained, taking over for Tony, "After seeing the footage live, Tony went back to the scene and found every person who set foot in the lobby unconscious and barely breathing. Just today, we got the results of what effected them all. The smoke bombs you saw? They have the same properties of the genetic mutation you and Harold have."
"He's spreading it then?" Madeline concluded.
"Seems like it."
The young Osborn sat back in her chair in disbelief. She ran a hand through her hair and swore under her breath, earning a side-check glance from May. She apologized with her eyes, but it still didn't change how angry she grew.
"We evacuated everyone in the building and the area is still under strict contamination," Natasha continued, "clean up crew is still trying to get rid of the remainder gas leakage and the hospital is trying to cure as much people as possible."
"But they can't," Maddie spoke up and all eyes were on her, "the last of it was used on Harry."
"Dr. Cho is working on rounding up another batch as we speak. But with her currently cooking a bun in the oven, she's more Mr. Hyde so it'll take a bit more time."
The girl nodded slowly, stress filling her brain as she propped her head against her palm.
If Harry wasn't a monster already, he's successfully done it now. Dozens of people dying with our disease. What do I do.
