Chapter 9- Meeting up

Dani's POV

I drove the car towards the usual place where we hang out and do things. I thought about the phone call from earlier. Becca told me to come over once again. Probably just to hang out and get drunk, so the usual really. I felt bad about ignoring Kath earlier but the more I push them away the less they'll care about me and won't get involved in all this. Well except for Laur that is, she never gives up. I pull my car up and get out. I walk towards the abandoned house near the woods where we normally meet up. I push the old door open and go inside.

"Dani heeeey" Becca said getting up from the worn out couch, "come drink with us". Oh boy so it was drinking. It's not like I want to drink, it's just I'm scared of what Becca and her friends might do if i don't. And they've hinted before that they could do things to my sisters and I if I don't join in. At first Becca and I got on great but then you get to know her. But still she's my friend I have to look out for her. She'd look out for me too right?

I squeezed in on the couch next to Kyle. Jason sat on the armchair. They were best friends but I hated both of them, they'd always get too...touchy. But I'd be lying if I said they're not good looking. Then there was Sofia and Lexi who both sat in an armchair. Lexi was beautiful. Her blonde hair was short and spiked out just under her ears.  Her heavy mascara and lashes made it difficult to see her pretty grey eyes. She had a punk sort of look with a leather jacket and ripped black jeans. Sofia was even more beautiful, her brown skin was flawless and her dark wavy hair cascaded down to her waist.Her denim shorts were frayed at he ends and her crop top was a khaki colour. Her whole outfit eagerly showed off her long tanned limbs.

And then there was Becca. She sat sprawled across mine and Kyle's laps. Her piercing blue eyes forcing me to have another drink. She was the most prettiest in the room and she knew it. She was fun, feisty, ferocious. She had all the guys and girls after her. Yet she only hung out with this small circle of people and me for some reason. i don't even know why she would even come and talk to someone like me when she could be hanging around with models instead. Maybe she's using me for something? No... she wouldn't do something like that.

Lauren's POV

I parked further away from Dani so she wouldn't suspect anything and then climbed out of the car. It was cold out and all I was wearing was shorts and a white t-shirt. I ran a hand through my hair and followed Dani towards the house. making sure no-one could see me I spied on them through the window. I see two guys, two unbelievably pretty girls, Dani and...Becca. I see Dani looking uncomfortable as she downs a couple drinks. They could obviously see she was uncomfortable and not to mention they all look at least 2 or 3 years older than her. Soon I'd had enough. I went round the back of a house and hid behind a tree. I text Dani.

L- Dani I need you home

D-What?Why?

L- Something happened, you need to get back here straight away

D- Ok, be right there.

Soon enough Dani walked out but with the blonde girl. I guess she needed a ride or something. I got Dani out of there but that didn't stop the pit of anger growing inside of me. I stormed up to the front of the house ready to give Becca a piece of my mind...
