Chapter 27- 'I guess I do like her'

Kyle's POV

I left Lauren's room more confused then I've ever been in my entire life. What did Dani mean by saying I hurt Lauren? I would never even think of doing something like that. I see Lexie and Sofia about to leave the house but I stop them.

"Hey, you guys, wait," I called out. They stopped and turned around. Sofia gave me a warm  smile. I loved these two girls, they've always been by my side. But Sofia was like a big sister to me. Lexie and I were cool but she just liked to keep more to herself, I guess.  I follow them outside.

"What's up?" Lexie asked, as we stood on the porch of the Cimorelli's house. I chuckled at her statement.

"What do you mean? Did you not just see what happened back there." I said. She started laughing too.

"Oh that..." she said, lengthening her words.

"What were you doing here anyway, Kyle" Sofia asked, cocking her head. I got really hot all of a sudden and I scratched the back of my neck nervously.

"I was just...uh, I was-" I stuttered.

"Oh my Gosh!" Lexie and Sofia said in unison as their frowns turned into knowing looks and their mouths hung open.

"What?" I said, nervously.

"You like her," Sofia said playfully punching my shoulder. I just blushed and looked at the ground.

"I would deny it, but it's been a long time since I've felt like this about someone so yeah I guess I do like her," I smiled, "A lot." I got a bunch of aww's from Sofia and Lexie and Lisa. Wait Lisa? I followed Sofia and Lexie's gaze to behind me to find Lisa standing in the doorway. She noticed our confused faces.

"Were you just watching the whole time?" I asked, grinning.

"Yup," she smiled, she looked past me and saw the girls, "Oh hey I'm Lisa, Lauren and Dani's sister."  Sofia flashed her a smile and Lexie just nodded her head at her awkwardly.

"Hi, I'm Sofia." she said. Lisa looked at Lexie and Sofia nudged her slightly. She sighed.

"Lexie," she said.

"Ok now y'all are introduced can you please tell me what the heck that was about back there!" I said growing frustrated at the secrecy. Sofia and Lexie looked around awkwardly and Lisa looked at me sadly.

"Wait, aren't you guys confused too?" Lisa asked Lexie and Sofia.

"No, we kind of already knew," Sofia said. Lisa looked confused, "Dani told us," Sofia said. Lisa's eyes widened.

"WHAT!" she exclaimed, "I told her not to tell anyone! Laur, didn't want anyone knowing! I swear I'm gonna-" Lexie cut her off.

"Calm down!" Lexie said, annoyed, Lisa looked surprised that Lexie actually spoke up. "Dani never told us, we just figured it out," she finished. Lisa's face softened.

"Oh," she said simply. I still stood in between Lisa and the girls and my eyes darted between them as they spoke.

"Wait, stop. I don't understand what's going on?" I said, still confused as hell, "What exactly did you two 'figure out'?" I said pointing fingers at Sofia and Lexie, "And Lauren didn't want anyone knowing about what exactly? Is she okay? Was she hurt?" I said quickly all in one breath. 

"Look, Kyle it's getting late, we're going to go," Sofia determined, clearly wanting to get out of the situation. "Yeah, Lisa here, can explain to you," Lexie said, smirking at Lisa. I just nodded my head, I guess that was okay. Lexie set off towards the car and Sofia hugged me. As she hugged me she whispered something in my ear.
