Lexie's POV
I sighed heavily as I plopped down on the couch, Sofia followed suit and sat next to me, dropping her keys on the table. Dani closed the front door and dropped on the couch, her head on my lap and her long legs across Sofia's. I watched as Sofia ran her hands over her face and Dani closed her eyes, the both of them clearly exhausted just like I was.
"We've searched the whole of Nashville and we can't find that bastard anywhere!" I exclaimed, annoyed.
"Language," Dani scolded, glaring at me. I winced and gave her an apologetic look.
"Sorry babe," I said and she smirked at me before quickly leaning up and giving me a quick kiss, which made me blush. She lay her head back down, her dark hair in a pool beneath her head. I looked over at Sofia and noticed she was deep in thought. I nudged Dani and she looked up at me questioningly, I nodded my head towards Sofia and Dani glanced at her and also noticed something was wrong. She sat up and put her hand on Sofia's shoulder.
"Something wrong Soph?" Dani asked her carefully, I smiled at this, I loved that these to were finally getting on. It made it much easier to have Dani as my girlfriend and Sofia as a best friend at the same time. Sofia looked up as she was dragged away from her thoughts.
"What?" she asked confused.
"I asked if something was wrong." Dani repeated. She looked down for a moment before meeting Dani's green eyes.
"I think we should tell Kyle," Sofia said quickly. I watched Dani move her hand from Sofia's shoulder as her expression and posture change. I agreed with Sofia but I don't know how Dani would take this because Lauren definitely didn't want anyone knowing.
"We can't," Dani said pointedly. I sighed and placed my hand on Dani's forearm.
"She's right, Kyle might be the only one who may know where he is." I said to Dani softly. She looked troubled.
"I know," she sighed and gave a small smile, "Dammit, you're both right." Sofia giggled a little and I smiled widely. She looked at Sofia and then looked at me.
"Just let me talk to my sisters first before we go to him, okay?" she said. I nodded my head and so did Sofia.
"Want us to come with?" Sofia asked. Before Dani could reply her phone began ringing, she glanced at the caller ID and looked surprised, almost shocked.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"Lauren's calling me." she said almost disbelievingly.
"So?" Sofia asked confused.
"She hasn't talked to me since that night, when I nearly messed up Kyle's face." she said quickly, before getting up and answering her phone.
"Lauren?" she asked timidly.
Dani's POV
Lauren thinks all this is just gonna go away but it's not. It's getting worse. It's eating her up. That's why I'm doing this whole searching thing with Sofia and Lexi. And that's why I agree that we need to tell Kyle, so he can help to make Jason suffer and pay for what he did. God knows how many others he's done this to.
My phone started ringing and once I saw the caller ID I just stared at my phone while it continued ringing.
"What's wrong?" Lexie asked.
"Lauren's calling me." I said confused, she hasn't talked to me since...
"So?" Sofia asked confused.
"She hasn't talked to me since that night, when I nearly messed up Kyle's face." I said quickly, before getting up and answering my phone.
"Lauren?" I answered, timidly, walking over to the side of the room for a little privacy.
