Dani's POV

I didn't even know where I was heading to after what Lisa had yelled at me. I didn't believe her at first but then Lauren's timid voice spoke and it sunk in. But Lisa had said that it was my fault. How could it possibly have been my fault? I'd stopped at the red lights in my car as all these thoughts swirled in my mind. From what I understood, Lauren didn't want anyone knowing, so I wasn't going to tell anyone. If I were in her shoes I wouldn't want anyone knowing too. I thought about scenarios on how the rest of the girls would take it. I thought about the scumbag who might have done this to her. I thought about what was going to happen once I got home. The car behind me honked and I realised the lights had turned green. I drove on, again not knowing exactly where I was heading. That's when I remembered what Lisa had yelled earlier. About how Laur had ended up in some woods. I was really confused, the only woods I knew were...

"Oh my God," I muttered. I quickly did a three point turn, heading for those woods, earning multiple glares and honks from other drivers.

I sat on a bench nearby, waiting for Isaac to arrive. Soon a red pick up truck pulled up, the window rolled down revealing that cheeky smile belonging to Isaac. I found myself grinning back despite everything going on at home.

"You just gonna stand there, or you gonna get in?" He said.

"Well, you're practically a stranger sooo..."I teased.

"Oh come on Lisa," He pouted. I liked it when he said my name... NO Lisa stop. You hardly know the guy plus he's your little sister's ex boyfriend. Saying that, I still had to ask him so many questions. I walked towards the car and I watched as he quickly unbuckled himself and rushed over to open the passenger door for me.

"Why thank you kind sir," I said dramatically as I climbed in buckling my belt.

"You're most welcome, fair maiden," he said, dramatically bowing. I laughed out loud as he got behind the steering wheel in the car.

"So where to?" He asked.

"How about somewhere we can talk?" I suggested "I wanna get to know you, and about the relationship you have with my sister."

"Sure thing m 'lady," He tried to jokingly say but I could tell he was nervous. We sat in a comfortable silence as he drove off, the warm summer breeze wafting through the window, calming me.

Dani's POV

I trudged into the cabin looking for answers. As much as I hated having to come back here, I had to. But I really didn't want to see Becca.

"Hello?" I called out. The only sound that came back was the echo of my own voice. I proceeded up the stairs, every step creaking beneath my feet. I cautiously entered the only room upstairs. The room was empty. I went in further to find the bedsheets crumpled. That must have been where it happened. I turned around, brought my forehead to the wall and closed my eyes. I sobbed and hit my forehead against the wall.
