Last part!

"Peter?" You questioned softly as the man looked down at his arms outstretched in front of him. "But I'm over there. . ." He trailed off, and you looked over your shoulder to in fact see the boy sleeping, then back to see a sheer image of the boy looking all over his body.

"It's okay, Peter. I can get you back and try again."

"No." He said worriedly, barely paying any attention to you. "I'm not letting you do that and mess it up again, I want to wake up on my own."

"Peter. . ."

"No, I'm being completely serious, I do not need your help, just like I didn't need your help while fighting that guy."

"Pete—"

"You think that you saving me will make us all buddy buddy? I think not."

"Peter, listen to me!" The boy shut his mouth tightly and refused to make eye contact. "You're in a coma, and your monitors are dropping. You're going to die from head trauma, so I need to help you."

You walked over to him to put your hand on his arm, but your hand fell right through him. He looked down and heaved in a hard breath. "Oh god." He whispered, and then ran right through you and over to the bed.

You slowly walked behind him and outstretched your hand so it touched his still body. Peter looked down at his arm, but your arm was on the real him, then shifted his gaze over to you.

He sighed, defeated, "Don't let me die."

"I wouldn't dare, Peter." You said softly, and he sighed again. "I'm sorry for yelling, I didn't mean it." He said while scratching the back of his head. You looked down and whispered, "I'm sorry for everything."

Peter perked at that. "What do you mean?"

"You didn't deserve to be treated like trash, and I'm sorry. If I could go back and change it, I would."

"Me too, (Y/N)."

You ran a hand through your hair and cleared your throat, putting your right hand over the boy's unconscious body. You made your hand glow up, "I can wake you up now."

You began to lower your hand, but surprisingly, Peter's transparent form grabbed your arm, halting your actions. You looked over your shoulder to see Peter there with an expression you weren't able to read plastered on his face.

"Stay." He mumbled. "One more minute."

You followed his command and let the glow fade out, removing your arm. You looked back at him to see him standing a few feet away, staring at you in a weird way. It wasn't hatred.

"This feels unreal." He stated, and cracked a light smile while laughing a little. "Everything is whooshing around the room so fast that I can't see anything, but then there you are, right there." He pointed to you, and you tilted your head, not knowing where he was going with this. "You're as clear as day, (Y/N), why couldn't I have seen that earlier? Why have I never acknowledged how beautiful you are, or how your hair shines against the sun, or how soft you walk? I mean, I never hear you come into a room! How have I not noticed these obvious things?"

You only stared at him, not expecting him to say those sweet words. Your mouth was agape and you tried to spit something out, but nothing.

"I just covered you up as someone I hated, and that was that. I saw you as a threat to me, I once believed that you could've jeopardized my internship with Mister Stark, but now, I see you for you. I see all of your capabilities and your personality, and it's taken my breath away. It's just, how have I not noticed?"
