~Justin's point of view~

"Justin! Wake up! Time for breakfast!" I sighed tiredly and shouted to my mom I'm up. I lazily dragged my feet to the shower. I stripped down and turned on the tap.

I sighed happily as the warm water hits my skin. While showering, my mind wanders off to Darielle. When she told me about her tragic story.

The way her face changed as the story got worst. Her dazed look. The sadness in her eyes and yet she managed to put on a composed face.

Her shimmering brown eyes darkened. I wanted to hug her tightly and tell her it's alright but I didn't. I tightly shut my eyes and clenched my fists.

The image of her being sad made my chest tighten. I'm not stating that I like her but I now know that I care for her. I sighed and turned off the tap.

I got out and wrapped my towel around my waist. I walked over to the sink and gripped on the edge of the counter. Why did she have to tell me that story?!

If she didn't, I wouldn't have anything to be sad and angry about. Poor Darielle. She's been alone all this while. No wonder she's different from everyone else.

She doesn't have anyone in her life or be by her side. I lifted my head up and stared at my reflection. I ran my fingers through my hair. I'm not the bravest among all.

I'm not usually social to anyone. But I can be someone to be there for others. I want to help those in need. I huffed and nodded knowingly. I know what to do now.

-Downstairs-

I straighten my shirt and exhaled sharply. I saw my mom at the dining table; eating her breakfast. I took in a breath and walked up to her. She lifted her head up and smiled when she saw me.

"Morning, sweetie." I nodded and kissed her forehead. I sat down in front of her with my arms folded on the table. "Here. I made chocolate pancakes." She pushed the plate to me.

I sighed and pushed it aside. She puts on a confused face. I breathed out lowly. "I'll do it." I said to her. She blinked her eyes multiple times. "Do what?" She drawled.

I sighed. "I agree into marrying Darielle." I breathed out as I looked at mom. Within seconds, she burst out from her stool with the fork & spoon shooting into the air as she squealed making me step back in shock.

Then, ran towards me with her arms automatically wrapped around my neck. My arms instantly caught her by her waist. She breathed out a relieved chuckle in my ear.

"I promise you, baby boy." She spoke through her sniffles. "You won't regret this." She sniffled before breathing out a chuckle. I smiled weakly before she jumped out from my arms and skipped happily upstairs.

I frowned and sighed. I turned and head to the dinner table. "Marriage, huh?"
