~Justin's point of view~

"Mom! Hurry up!" I shouted to mom who was upstairs doing who-knows-what. I tapped on my foot impatiently. "I'll be down in a sec!" She responded back as I heard footsteps. Sigh . . . How many times have I heard 'that'?

Damn, I'm gonna be late! "I'm here! Hoo . . . I'm here." Mom panted as I turned around to find her catching her breath. I gave her a perplex look. "What's with the fancy dress?" I asked.

She inhales a lot and finally answered me. "I . . . have to . . . attend a meeting . . . at  . . . the hospital. . ." She wheezes. I sighed and suddenly, the sound of a horn honking filled our ears. I jogged to the window and I finally saw the bus in sight.

"Mom! I have to go now."I softly said as I walked up to her. She looks up at me since I was way taller than her. She sighed and a smile spread on her face. On impulse, we both hugged each other 'Goodbye'. I walked out the door with my bags.

I got in the bus and to my relief; there weren't anybody in it. I glance at my watch. 5.30 p.m. It's still early. I heard the door close and felt the bus move to fetch some other senior. I straight away made my way to the back of the bus.

The back there is the safest place I would go if I rode a bus. My bullies won't see me or hurt me if I'm there. I sighed and when I reached the back; I saw there was someone already there sitting in the back.

It was a girl. I couldn't really see her face since it was covered up by her long hair like a curtain. I sighed as I find a seat. I went to take a seat on the left side of the back seats. Once I did, I immediately froze.

What . . . Is . . . That . . .? Old cheese? Rotten food? I think I'm gonna puke. I shivered in disgust and sighed. The only seat here is . . . Next to her . . . I sucked in my breath before exhaling slowly. "Relax . . ." I whispered to myself.

I carefully and hesitantly sat next to her. I glance at her nervously to find that she hasn't notice I'm sitting next to her. I sighed in relief. "Sit somewhere else." I heard someone spoke only it was her! I jumped in my seat and I felt my heart beat rapidly.

"U-Umm . . . I-I . . . C-Can't . . . C-." I got cut off. "Justin?" She spoke making me widen my eyes. Her voice. . . It sounds so familiar. It's clear now. "D-Darielle?" I stuttered. She turned her head; revealing her face to me.

"Wha-What are y-you doing on this t-trip?" I asked, nervously. Her expression changed to blank as she turned back to the window. "Am I not allowed on this trip?" The question pierced through me. Why are you so harsh, Darielle?

I gulped and hesitantly answered, "I didn't m-mean like t-that. . ." I breathed. "Do I need your permission to go on this trip?" She shot me another question so, harshly. Why is she torturing me?

I was too shaken up to answer anymore. I'm such a chicken! I heard her sigh as I saw from the corner from my eye that she straighten her back and leaned against the chair as her hands were placed on her lap.

"Sorry. I didn't mean to tease you." She said as she turned her face to me with a small grin. I blinked multiple times before hesitantly making myself comfortable in my seat. I feel relieved now. She was only teasing me.

-Arrive at the dock-

"Alright students! I'm very happy that you have all come on this trip!" Our homeroom teacher cheered along with the other Seniors. Darielle and I were at the back of the rest of the others. I hate being cooped up. I'm claustrophobic.

"Alright! This is the cruise ship we'll be on along our destination to Hawaii!" The girls squealed whilst the guys hollered. I just sighed and Darielle kept quiet the whole time.

I just hope nothing goes wrong throughout this whole journey . . . . I highly doubt that.
