~Justin's point of view~

-At the field-

Not only am I a nerd, I'm a total weakling on the field. "Will you look at this . . . The Nerd's gonna do sports. Nice joke." David's voice spoke making everyone on the field burst into laughter.

I bit my lip, trying to avoid his words from hitting me. I ignored him and stood near the coach. Coach Jones is a big guy but he's cool on me. He treats me like I'm his own nephew.

"Hey there, Justin!" He greeted once he turned around. I gave him a small smile. "Hey, coach." I answered. He turns his head to the front. "Those boys teasing you again?" He asked me even though he knows.

I just remained silent. He sighed and puts his fists on his hips. "Sometimes you just need to learn to fight back . . . Just not the 'physical' fight back." He stated making me nod.

Coach wouldn't let me on the field because mom told him about her being afraid I might slip up. I just rolled my eyes at her reason but coach listened to her anyway. Mom is so protective.

~Omniscient's point of view~

"Alright! Girls! Gather round!" Coach Jones exclaimed making the girls jog up to him. Justin was getting taunting glares from them making him shift uncomfortably behind Coach Jones.

Suddenly, he glance at a certain brunette that stood out among the girls making him move from behind the coach to see the person. Once he did, it was Darielle who stood there as she listened to the coach's words.

He couldn't help but admire her. Her soft-looking brunette hair, her beautiful yet taunting eyes, her strong personality yet still mysterious, her ways of getting him out of David's grasp. Everything swirled in Justin's mind about Darielle.

"What am I doing?" Justin mumbled to himself. That made Coach Jones turned around to him. "What was that, Justin?" He asked making Justin jump in shock as he put his arms up in defense.

"Gah! I-It w-was . . . nothing! N-nothing to w-worry about!" Justin rambled followed by a nervous laugh. Darielle noticed when she heard the sound of Justin's voice. She turned to see the boy trying to convince the coach.

She felt herself grin as she saw how nervous-looking Justin was. Justin is the school's nerd . . . dork . . . loser . . . but, somehow . . . Darielle couldn't stay away from him. Even though, she doesn't know anything about him. She can sense something in him.

Something strong that's pulling her in. She'd just have to find out. Justin sighed in relief when Coach Jones finally let him off the hook. Justin took a breather. Soon, he turned his head and unexpectedly; he was staring straight at Darielle.

His hands got all sweaty and he was getting nervous. He didn't knew what was going on with him. Darielle stared at him for awhile before tilting her head to the side and gave him a heart-warming smile as she waved at him.

He returned the favor but in a nervous way, of course. Justin kept questioning himself. 'Why does Darielle never feel disgusted whenever getting near me or even spit after kissing me? Don't I disgust or shame her?' He thought.

He sighed and shook his head. "Alright, girls! I will call up four of you to race each other on the field!" Coach Jones hollered making Justin cringed since he's right behind the coach.

That made Darielle giggled silently. "Alright! First one up! . . . Miss Rogers! . . . Miss Banner! . . . Miss Hendricks! . . . Miss Olsen! Stand behind the lines, please!" With that, the girls went to their positions.

Justin watched as the girls-- moreover to Darielle-- get into their positions. Suddenly, he felt a hard shove from behind making him stumble forwards. Luckily, the coach caught Justin before he made contact with the grass.

Laughter boomed making Justin turn to see it was David and his gang. "Move nerd." David growled before averting his eyes to the girls whilst biting his lip.

"Damn, Darielle's got a nice ass! I'd tap that anytime!" David smirked as he checked out Darielle's you-know-what. Somehow, Justin felt the urge to boil David in hot oil.

'He better not have any dirty thoughts about my fiancée!' He thought. Suddenly, realization hits him. He just called Darielle his fiancée even though they're not even engaged . . . fake engage that is.

Justin sighed and loosens his fist. 'What am I thinking?' He thought. "Whoo! Look at that ass go!" David hollered as he kept his eyes on Darielle's a**. 'As if Darielle would like me to be her fiancé . . .  let alone my wife!' Justin thought as he sighed.

"Pathetic." Justin said-- a little bit too loud--  to himself. Unfortunately, David heard him and snaps his head in Justin's direction. David clenched his fists and his nose flared as he stomped over to Justin.

Before Justin could realize anything, a hand grabbed and pulled him by his shirt. Justin made contact with an angry David. Justin was confused. "Who you calling 'pathetic', dork!!!??!?" David yelled in anger.

Justin was utterly shock, scared and confused at the same time. 'What's his deal?' He thought. "If you're gonna call someone pathetic, you should look in the mirror and say it!!!" David exclaimed.

'For a dumb bully, he sure knows how to use words.'  Justin thought. Then, without Justin knowing, David pushed him to the ground making Justin let out an, "Oof!"

Hearing the commotion, Darielle notice as she glance over to the scene. They were about to finish one last lap and its obvious that Darielle's going to win but her guts was telling her that something very wrong is going to happen.

"You think you're so f****** special that Darielle's gonna actually be in love with you!?" David scoffed. "Wake up coz she's never gonna love a dork-of-a-nerd like you . . . !" David shots his fist in Justin's direction. Justin shut his eyes and put his arms up in defense.
