I watched as he raced across the field at lightening fast speed, dodging everyone in his path. I got to my feet as he got closer and closer to the end. Everyone around me got to their feet and were silent as they watched in pure amazement. He was getting closer when he was suddenly tackled from the side, but to everyones shock he didn't go down, he made it to the end zone and rolled onto the touchdown. The crowd erupted in cheers and screams, Brinsley Highschool was going to the finals. Everyone rushed to the field and gathered around out team to celebrate.
"Come on Cass," Molly said as she pulls me out of the bleachers and over intot he crowd. We didn't find who we were looking for tho so we decided to wait out in the parking lot.
"Hey guys," Talia says as she walks over. Talia was my cousin and she was stunning with her brown hair and blue eyes. She really isn't my cousin, just like Molly but my parents say that because they were all friends when they were our age. But its okay, i love them as cousins and we share a grandma which i still haven't figured out yet how that all works, Mom and dad don't really talk about when they were younger.
"Party at our house," Colton says as the boys walk over covered in dirt, blood, and sweat. Is mile and run and jump on him. He laughs and holds my legs so i don't fall off his back. I kiss his cheek and wrap my arms around his neck so i don't fall.
"That was a sweet ass touch down bro," i say with pride that this boy was my twin brother. He laughs and sets me down next to his black truck. Yes, our family was kinda wealthy, don't know how, but they are. So Cole has a kick ass truck and i have a sweet Car at home.
"Yeah, our parents are home, so we are having the gang over," Cole says as he throws his bag and stuff in the back of the truck.
"I call riding with the wonder twins," Molly shouts as she hops in the back making me laugh as i climb into the passanger side.
"Alex, Jason, Devin, and Keegan are meeting us there.. So hold on ladies, because no way in hell are they beating me to my own house," Cole says as he lets Talia climb in before he gets in. He takes off with a loud roar of his truck down the road toward our house.
Once we get home, which of course was way before the guys got there, we ordered some pizzas and got all the food and movies ready.
"They are taking forever," Molly says as she eats a few chips that we just poored into a bowl. Cole laughs.
"I asked them to pick up Maria for me," he says as he smiles at the sound of his girlfriends name. I make a weird face.
"Relationships are lame," I comment as i walk into the other room. Relationships are a touchy subject for me since my last boyfriend. I guess you can say it didn't end very well and it left me in a deep depression for a few months, and when i say deep, i mean i barely left the house. Cole and my parents were really worried, but soon the group got me moving and back to my normal self.
"The fun has arrived," Jason shouts as they all walk in carrying out pizza we ordered.
"We got here at the same time as the pizza, so i paid, my treat," Keegan adds on with a smile. NOt going to lie, all my friends were attractive, and yet they all still stayed single. I mean they did have relationships, then it all of a sudden stopped a few weeks after i went into my depression, weird right?
"Alright move over small fry," Devin say as he pushes me off the couch. I land on the floor with a thud.
"Ouch!" I say as i whack him with a pillow. He freaks out, acting of course.
"Cassidy! Woman calm down, no need to bruise my sensitive skin," he jokes in a girl voice making everyone laugh. I try not to, and keep a serious face but it doesn't work, I break out laughing with everyone.
A few hours later and we are half way into a new movie, everyone was asleep except Talia and myself. We were hyped up on sugar. We were watching the movie eatting popcorn when we heard a noise coming from outside. I almost threw the popcorn bowl when I heard the bang. Talia looked at me with fear.
"What was that?" She asked as i shake my head. We carefully get up without stepping on anyone or waking anyone, and make our way to the window. Talia was behind me hanging onto my arm as i slowly moved the shades to the side to look out. I didn't see anything so i got closer, adn right when i did someone poped up and hit the window making me fall back into Talia as we both screamed. Everyone got up pretty fast and was alert.
"What is it?" Cole says as him and the others run over. Talia and I were freaking out and couldn't even speak. Then the door opened..........
