Hope you all are enjoying this book as much as the first one! I know i haven't been updating as much as I normally would, but I am in the process of moving and I had my Exams. But, thank you all for being so patient and sticking around to read my stroy :) I really love reading all your feedback and comments, so keep those coming :) Oh, feel free to inbox me as well, i love messaging with you guys too! Anyways, before this note gets way to long, here's a nre chapter :) Hope you all enjoy and give me some feedback.....
CASSIDY'S POV
I woke to a painful headache, on top of all my pain from the accident still. I went to move and i realized that I was tied to a chair, in a dark room of all places. I struggled to get free but it was no use, the rope was way to tight, i could feel it cutting through my skin. Squinting i looked around the room, there was no sign of anything, but of course, it was pitch black. I started twisting my wrists and holding back the cries of pain as I did, but still nothing.
"Ugh, Austin!" I shout stomping my foot on the cement floor. I was beyond mad right now. "Alright, you have me! Why keep me here, why not just kill me like you planned on?" I questioned. After I said that a door opened and light poured into the room. I looked around and it was an all cemet room, and there was someone laying in the corner not breathing. I couldn't make out who it was because Austin's laugh made all my attention go to the door as he walk in.
"You don't get it yet do you Cassidy?" He says swinging a small pocket knife in his hand and circling me.
"No I don't, because I don't think like a physco killer," I snap back at him making him stop and smirk at me.
"I have someone bringing your brother and your stupid little friends here. With Sam in the hospital and not able to give the orders, I can get them here and set off the bomb planted in the basement." he says making my mind spin. Oh no, I left that picture so Cole could figure this out, but that very well might be the reason for their death too.
"Austin please don't do this? We can go back to the way we were when we were younger," I beg him making him chuckle.
"You have Sam now, well you did. I have someone going there now to kill him. With you missing, all your friends will focus on that because Sam is in that coma, I will win." he says kissing my neck. I pull away and glare at him.
"Cole is smarter than that, he won't send everyone in," I snap back as he holds the knife closer to my face.
"Oh sweet Cassidy, when one of this friends tells him to, he will," He says pushing the blade against my cheek and leaving a cut. I hiss in pain as he pulls it away and smiles as blood trickles down my face.
"Careful, or you might end up like little Talia over there," he says walking out but leaving the light on. I realize that he was right, that was Talia laying in the corner. I start struggling to get free.
"Talia!" I shout hoping she will hear me. I see her chest going up an down just the smallest bit, she was still alive, for now. "We're gonna get out of here talia, your dad will find us," I say hoping my uncle knows what to do, or that the boys are smart enough to ask for his help.
Sam's POV
It has been an hour since we discovered that Cass was missing, and yet we still sit at home.
"Keegan what are you doing in town?" Cole asked with a weird look on his face. Keegan was supposed to be in Spain on a trip, not here. TJ was glaring at him, which is typical TJ, but even Josh looked un-easy around him.
"I heard this thing was happening again, I wanted to help," Keegan says with a shrug. Cole shakes his head.
"No way a plane is fast enough to get you here this fast..... Were you even in Spain?" Cole asked making Keegan look stunned by the sudden question but he regains his cool fast. I notice out of the corner of my eye TJ nudge Josh and nod toward Keegan. Josh nods and gets up.
"I'll be back, bathroom break," Josh says walking past us and into the hallway. I look at TJ and TJ nods toward Keegan. I follow his look and my eyes land on a gun in Keegans back pocket. Now, last thing we need is guns going off, because I wasn't fast enough right now to dodge anything, and Keegan could be trained.
"First class man, you know how those things fly... But listen, Heath can't be behind this, i mean i know he has a thing for Cass," he says making my blood boil. "But he would never go as far as hurting or killing her and people around her," Keegan adds on making me look at Cole. Cole realizes something is off and takes action.
"Well, let's all split up and search the town. If we find Heath we will take him in for questions, or if we can find out anything leading back to Cass," Cole says but Keegan shakes his head.
"We need to all stay in a group, we don't know who is out there," he says making us all a little on edge now.
"Keegan whose side are you on?" cole asked making a move toward Keegan. In a split second Keegan had a gun pulled on him.
"Don't do it Keegan," Josh said from the hall right next to Keegan with a gun pointed at him as well. The room was silent, Cole was looking his best friend of seventeen years in the eye who had a gun pulled on him.
"I thought we were friends man?" Cole asked calmly. Keegan laughed.
"Friends? No, i told you long ago that i had a thing for your sister and you shut me down. I spent years watching your family, my uncle sent me here to kill you all, but i didn't. I waitied until the time was right but then these idiots came back.....You always ruin everything, I'm getting paid millions for this," Keegan said in an angry tone.
"Is it worth dying over?" TJ says in an angry tone as well. Keegan smiled and made a move and a gun went off.
