I slowly begin to climb the stairs, hearing someone moving once again. I back up against the wall and pull out my gun as i move toward the last few steps and into the hall. I turn and look down, it was clear. I could still hear everything going on int he ear piece outside, it was dying down out there. I don't know if that is good or bad. Hearing the movement again I clear the first two rooms. Last room was mine and my parents where the stuff was hidden. I walked in my room that looked to be clear, but i was wrong. As soon as i walked in my gun was knocked out of my hands and i was pinned to the wall.
"Knew you couldn't resist," Calvin's voice rings through the my ears. I coulnd't break from his grip either, what was i going to do?
"Should have known someone like you would be in this mess," I snapped at him making him laugh as he kisses my neck.
"Oh baby girl i am part of this more than you know... My uncle wants revenge that he should have gotten years ago before you were even older. Your dad owes him, and you just became the top on the hit list now. He doesn't care what happens to you and Cole, as long as you are gone now," he says making my heart stop.
"Go to hell," i snap making him mad. He pulls me back and slams me back into the wall again making my heart hit hard. I closed my eyes in pain but opened them again just as he pulled me back yet again and slammed me back.
"I should have killed you months ago when i moved into the school, you and your snappy little attitude," he says slamming me back again.
"You were behind this whole thing," I say trying to stay focused as the pain in my head increased as i was yet again slammed back.
"My uncle passed away a month ago because you friend killed him......Now i get my payback," He says throwing me across the room. I slide on the hard wood and slam into the bed. Laying on my back i try to regain focus and my breath. I push myself up and back away from him.
"This was never about my family then.. It was about you getting revenge," I question making him smile.
"Revenge on that person and for my uncle who wanted this war done and over with," He says coming closer. I pull out my knife but he grabs my wrist and i drop it.
"Revenge doesn't solve anything Calvin," I say as his grip on my wrist tightens making me let out a whimper in pain as i can feel my bone slowly getting close to breaking.
"Cass get out of there we found your mom... Dad said to get out," Cole said over the mic making Calvin laugh and pull me with him downstairs. He grabs the mic and smirks.
"Cassidy is a little busy right now," He says as we walk out int he backyard where the battle was still going. He smile as i watch people fighting and killing each other. As far as i could see everyone was still alive, maybe not in good condition but alive.
"Calvin!" Keegan yells from across the yard. He was bleeding and dirty as he punches a guy and looks at us. Calvin smiles and shoves me ahead of him. I was confused until i turned around and he pulled a gun on me.
"Game over," he whispers as he pulls the trigger and runs. I fall to the ground everything in a blur around me. I hear yelling and my name. Calvin yelled for his men to move out and the guns stopped. I heard more yelling but it was becoming hard to focus on noise, and i was going in and out of darkness.
"Cass stay awake," I heard Keegan say as i felt someone put pressure on my stomach. The pain that came with it made me let out a scream.
"Keegan talk to me!" I heard Cole on the mic. "What happened?" He asked as i heard him out of breath, he must have been chasing the guys.
"Dude, we need to get help now... It's Cass," He says as he puts more pressure on my stomach. I look down and see blood, it soaked my shirt and was forming a puddle on the ground. I began to close my eyes.
"S---Sam," I whispered and Keegan looked at me.
"Sam can you hear me man," Keegan choked out.
"Yeah I'm here... Where are you? Did you find Kass?" he questioned as i hear his gun go off. Keegan takes a moment to regain himself.
"Get over to the house now," Keegan said as i started coughing up blood.
"What's wrong?" Sam suddenly asked. Keegan uses one hand to shake me a little.
"Stay with me Cassidy," he says and i hear everyone freaking out on the mic asking questions.
"I need....S..." I couldn't finished the sentence because I passed out. I heard voice coming then a new set of arms wrapped around me, they were carrying me.
"Open the door," Sam's voice rang in my ears. I felt him get us into a car and then people getting in and driving.
"She isn't responding," Keegan said in a weak voice.
"I knew something like this would happen," TJ said from the front.
"Come on Cass," Sam's voice was like music to my ears. I opened my eyes a little as i coughed up more blood and i felt the car stop then a second pair of hands put pressure on my stomach.
"DRIVE TJ!" Cole's voice said. I couldn't make out faces, everything was blurry, but i knew Sam was holding me.
"You aren't dying today Cassidy, not like this," Sam chokes out as i bring a shaky hand up to his face. I touch it and he uses one of his hands to touch it and then kiss it.
"Faster TJ," Cole shouts as i start shaking. Sam holds me tighter as it happens.
"She's going into shock from blood lose," Keegan says as Sam's grip tightens even more to hold me still. Last thing i remember is Sam saying "Please Cass, I love you" then darkness consumed me.
