The rain poured around us as the person held me to the wall and had me trapped. I felt their cold hand move hair away from my ear and leans closer because i can feel their breath on my neck. My heart went in over drive as my mind was racing. Where is Cole and Keegan? Why was i so stupid and not listen when people say not to go to the city?
"Walking the city alone, never a smart idea little lady," the man says as his hand grips my hip tighter than he should and kisses my neck. I close my eyes as tears fall down my already soaked face. I couldn't even scream because his hand was over my mouth. His grip on my hip moved and i felt him unbotton my jeans, this made me start to panic more as i pushed his hand away, this only caused him to push me harder against the wall. As a last attempt I push off the wall making him loose balance at my sudden movement and elbow him in the ribs before trying to run. I only make it five feet before i am thrown to the ground, hard, i was so going to have scraps from that one. I was on my stomach and he was on top of me. I was trying to get him off but with no luck. Then the weight of his body was removed, but i didn't look, i curled up in a ball, scared. All i heard was the rain falling around me.
"Cassidy," someone says touching my back making me jump a mile. I back away and look up, it was Cole. I felt relief but more tears came as he wrapped me in his arms. He had blood on his knuckles but i didn't say anything. The i heard another pair of footsteps making me bury my face in Coles chest.
"He got away....We need to get her warmed up," Keegans voice says as Cole moves but i stay in my same position, he is carrying me. I don't know how long it took but i woke up laying in my bed, in one of Coles hoodies and a pair of my sweat pants.
"I don't know who it was, it was dark and raining..I am sure they have a good cut on their face though, i punched the shit out of him," Cole's voice rang from downstairs. I slowly sit up and pain shots through my arm. I pull my hoodie sleeve up and look at my freshly scarped up arm.
"Maybe you shouldn't get in arguments with her and she wouldn't disappear like that in the first place," my mother's voice shouts out. I can hear my dad telling her to calm down.
"Cole, your mother and i have to go talk to the police about this....Watch your sister tonight please, we will be back before you leave for school," dad says as i hear their footsteps and a slamming door. I lay back down and cover myself in blankets, i was freezing. I listen to footsteps coming up the stairs and then my door cracks open, letting in some light.
"Cass, i know you're awake," Cole says as he walks in, i hear him stop by the side of my bed, but i don't turn, i just huddle deeper down in my blankets as he lets out a sigh.
"God, i thought the worst when i seen him on you....You have no idea how much i wanted to kill him Cass...for hurting my sister, im sorry i yelled at you, this is my fault," he says blaming himself. This makes me roll over so i was facing him, still had tears in my eyes as i sat up.
"Don't you dare blame yourself for this Colton! I was the one who decided to walk in the city, after Dad forbid me to, so it is no ones fault but myself," i say making him look at me.
"You wouldn't have been out so late if i never yelled at you!" he says sitting on the edge of the bed. I lean my head on his shoulder and sigh. He really is the best twin brother ever, i was lucky to have him.
"I know you care Cole, but i am a big girl i can make my own choices. Sam makes me feel on edge too, but that doesnt mean i can't talk to him," i say as Cole nods.
"I know, i just don't want anything like to night happen again," he says leaning his head on mine.
The next day i felt like complete crap, i was pretty sure i was getting a cold from being out in the rain, and my arm looked like i got hit by a car or something. I walked downstairs after getting dressed and was greeted by my mother who had made breakfast for me.
"Morning baby! how are you feeling?" she asked as i sat down and just stared at my food. I shrugged and pushed the plate away, i was not hungry at all.
"How did i get home?" i asked confused about what all happened last night.
"Oh baby, Cole and keegand got you home, you were alseep so i changed you and we just let you sleep it off," she says avoiding the actual question she wanted to ask. I nod and look around.
"Morning," my dad says making me jump a little. Boy it was going to be a long day if every little soud or person made me on edge.
