TJ'S POV
The bomb went off before any of us had time to even register what was going on. One second I was standing next to Cole, Cass, and Sam and the next we were all being throw in different directions with things falling and burning all around us. The ringing in my ears was a sure sign that I was still alive though. I moved my hand and pushed a fallen piece of the building off of me. Black covered my skin, along with burns and blood. My adreniline kicked in and I forced myself to sit up, still pushing things off of me. I looked around at the mess left of the building, things were still burning, but for the most part everything was burned and to the ground. We fell two stories, Or more like flew because of the explosion.
"Cole...Sam....Cass...Josh," I said with as much voice as I could. I coughed as i breathed in the smoke surrounding me. I couldn't see anyone around me, not even a trace of them. Josh was on the first level, he had to be under all this, i mean two floors fell ontop of him. The barking of Lexi and Jade got my attention as they stood on the outter edge of the burning building.
"Lexi, Jade come," I call out as the dogs make their way over to me. They lick me as they get over and i pet them and look around. They would be able to find the others, hopefully. That was a lot of space to cover still, but i was able to get to my feet just as a truck pulled up. I looked in hopes no more gang members showed up, and to my releift it was Zack and Rylee.
"What the hell happened?" Zack said climbing over pieces of the building to get to me. As soon as he did he helped me stand a little better. I held my side in pain as Rylee came up next.
"Austin had a bomb in the basement. He knew we would all come here. We need to find the others," I said as someone else ran over. Molly, boy was I glad to see her face.
"TJ," She said wrapping her small arms around me. Ignoring the pain i hugged her back, I thanked God Austin never found her.
"Molly, take him to the truck while we find the others," Zack ordered as Molly helped me through the mess.
Cassidy's POV
The ringing in my eyes wouldn't stop, i can't hear anything with all the noise. I moved my hand up to my head and felt wetness, blood. I looked at my hand and skin, all black and burned. Where was I? I looked around, i was under something and it was crushing me. I pushed what looked to be a piece of wall that burned, but it wasn't moving. Coughing i banged my fist on it.
"Somebody help," I coughed out as the smoke smell filled my lungs.
"We found Cole," My uncle Rylees voice rang out as i heard things being pushed and pulled a way away. Banging on the piece of wall some more i heard barks, thank goodness the dogs are here. I must have been in a different part of the building if they can't hear me.
"Good girl," I heard Sam's voice cough out as the wall moved a little. I hit it again.
"Sam, get me out of here," I said as i seen a little movement in a crack. The wall suddenly shifted and was lifted enough to crawl out. But i had no strength left, so someone else who was there grabbed my arm and pulled me out just before Sam dropped the wall back down. Cole, who was covered in black and burns pulled me into a hug. I hugged him back with my eyes closed, thanking God that he was alive.
"Can't leave you alone for two seconds," He teases making me laugh a little. I pull away and look at Sam who was in worse shape since he had just been in an accident as well. I hug him and he hus me back kissing my head.
"You know, usually accident victims stay in the hospital and not look for more ways to kill themselves," He says making me frown.
"I thought I lost you... I wanted to end this so no one else got hurt," I whisper into his chest, no way was I letting go of him after coming close to losing him more than once in the past 24 hours.
"And we thought we lost you when you were missing at the hospital," He says as my uncles walk over.
"Come on, we can't stay here long, you kids need medical attention." Rylee says picking me up bridal style while Zack helps Cole and Sam walk. My mind goes back to everyone else, I see TJ is alright but where is My dad, My mom, Talia, and Josh. I look at see Talia Laying in the back seat of Rylee's truck, along with my mother.
"Where's Josh and Dad?" I asked Cole. Cole looked around and noticed they were still missing as well. Jade and Lexi started barking as someone pushed a fallen piece of the building to the side. Josh climed out and looked at us with a smile before turning back to the hole. I seen he pulled someone out who was just laying there before my dad climbed out next. My heart relaxed when I seen they were both looked to be okay, being on the first floor must have kept them safe because the supporting walls never fell over.
"Who is that?" Sam nods toward the person they were carrying over with them. Zack went and helped them and when i seen who it was my heart stopped again, Heath.
"Why is he here?" Sam said getting mad. Cole also looked upset about this.
"Heath helped me," I whisper as I walk over to him, he was still breathing. After being shot twice and fighting for a gun, and being in an explosion, he was still alive.
"He helped you? But why?" Cole asked as he watched them put Heath in the back of Zack's truck.
"He said he owed me...I would be dead without his help," I say as we all load up and head to the hospital.
