After the party we started getting everything cleaned up. I ran into my dad in the kitchen while everyone else was outside cleaning.
"Thank you for this dad," I say setting some plates in the sink and looking at him. He was smiling at me then her wraps his arm around my shoulder as we walk upstairs.
"Anything for you princess. Besides you did get hurt in all this, which was never planned. And Sam is a good kid, this is what i was hoping would happen in the first place. I knew you two were good friends when you were little, i felt bad for taking him away. Now you get him back, plus two more, and they already are moved in," He says flipping on a light to one of our four guest rooms. It was all made up and looked like a teenage boys room, as did the other two. I smiled when i seen one right across from mine. I walked over and stood in the door way. dad must have walked away because i was alone, well i thought i was.
"Why are you in my room?" Sam said in a teasing tone. I smile and turn toward him and accidently bump him causing me to groan in pain because although i was released from the hospital, i was far from being healed.
"careful, i am breakable right now," I joke making him smirk at me.
"You're parents are amazing, i owe them so much," Sam says as we walk into his room and sit on the bed to talk.
"Yeah, my dad just wants you guys to have your life back. I am perfectly happy with that idea," I say making him laugh.
"I'm not sure how I feel about the school thing though... I mean i know i was there, and everyone is used to me being there. But now TJ and Josh are going to be back too, i think its gonna draw some attention," he says making me shrug.
"We will deal with it then... I'm just happy my Boyfriend gets to join school properly now," I say wrapping my arms around him. He laughs and kisses my head. We stayed talking fort he rest of the night until we finally went to bed.
The next morning everyone was dressed and down waiting for Cole so we could leave.
"Does he always take this long?" TJ groaned leaning on the counter in the kitchen. Mom and Dad already left for work, they had a lot of cleaning up and tracks to cover with the police and everything. I guess everyone was in on this, the cops wanted the gang stuff to end so no charges were on us for killing people, they were happy the violent gang was gone. Believe me I was too.
"Alright let's go," Cole says running down the stairs. We walked outside and all us stopped. There was four brand new trucks in the driveway. Cole freaked out when he seen his all repaired and new. "MY BABY" he shouts running to it. I laugh and we all follow. TJ finds one with his name on a note so he takes it. Josh does the same with the next. Then we get to Sam's.
"New trucks, they are going to far now," Sam says as we get in his. It is a Black 2014 lifted truck and it was amazing. I smiled, i loved trucks.
"Let's go do this thing," I say as i buckle and we all leave the house one after another. We got to school and all eyes were on the new huge ass trucks that just pulled in. We parked next to each other and all got out and grouped up.
"What is everyone's deal?" TJ said annoyed as people stared as they passed us by. I shrug and we all walk toward school.
"You sure know how to make an entrence," Keegan said joining us. Cole fist bumps him as he does so.
"Yeah well, we always go in with a bang and out with a bang," Josh jokes making us all laugh a little.
"Where's Molly?" I said as we got to the steps of the school.
"Zack said she wasn't ready to come back yet," Cole said sounding a little hurt. I nod and change the subject.
"Who is that?" Sam asked nodding to a Black SUV that just pulled in with music blasting. We all watched and waited for the person to get out. I've never seen that car at school in my life, i wonder who it is.
"Did you hear who is coming back to school after being out of state for three years?" I heard a few girls say as they walked past. Who do we know that has been gone three years i thought to myself. My fears opened when i seen who stepped out of the SUV, Heath.
"It's Heath, didn't he move though?" Cole asked me knowing i had a thing with him, but never knew what really happened. Cole was friends with Heath at one point, he didn't know we were dating though or the other things.
"Must be back, i missed the kid," Keegan said as Heath made his way toward us, i mean we were in front of the doors.
"Look at this.. Looks like the crew grew a little while i was gone," Heath said with a smile as him, Cole, and Keegan did their bro hug thing. I on the other hand crossed my arms and look any where but him.
"Yeah man, this is Sam, TJ, and Josh. New to here," Cole said as they all greeted each other. It was silent for a moment.
"And Cassidy, you haven't changed one bit," He says, amusement clear in his voice. I looked at him with a look of pure hurt. No one noticed, well except TJ i think because he looked at me weird.
"What brings you back?" Keegan asked as we began walking into the building.
"Oh, I had a few things i needed to finish. Besides i missed everyone, all the fun we had," He says looking at me again. I was feeling sick to my stomach and wanted him to just disappear. "I left and things weren't right, i wanted to make it up to some people, some people owe me as well," He says making Cole nod.
"Understandable... Hey why don't you come over for dinner later? My parents will be happy to hear you are back, they loved you back in the day," Cole says making my stomach drop. I didn't want him anywhere near me. I watched as everyone kept going, i guess they didn't notice i had stopped in my tracks.
"Alright, what is up with you and that kid?" TJ said next to me making me freeze. What was I going to tell him?
