Cole drove me to school today, where we met up with everyone in the parking lot. I sat in the car as we pulled up and Cole turned the truck off.
"Cass, you don't have to go to class today, Mom said you could stay home," he says making me look at him as i attempt to hold back tears. I shake my head and wipe my eyes. He sighs and gets out of the car just as everyone walks up, but i don't get out still. I watch as they talk. Keegan says something first, Cole looks in the truck then back at him before saying something back. Then all of a sudden my door opens making me jump.
"Didn't mean to scare you," Talia says laughing. Cole comes over and pulls her back kind of rough and glares at her.
"Not today Talia, just go to class you guys...I have to walk Cass to class," he says making everyone look worried. Everyone walks off except Keegan.
"How is hse holding up?" Keegan asks Cole as they wait for me. Cole looks at me.
"I don't know, she hasn't really talked...Everyone except us two make her jumpy and freaked out...I don't know how to handle that today with everyone at school," he says leaing on the truck as first bell rings.
"Should have figured she wouldn't skip school.... We can make it work tho, i mean I will tell the others what is up, then there is really only one class one of the boys aren't in but Molly is with her," Keegan adds in making Cole nod a little, i dont think they noticed that i walked over.
"Ready to go?" Cole asked pushing off of the truck and looking at me. I nod and follow behind the two as we make our way to class. They walk me to my first class.
"Miss Bieber, care to explain why you are late?" the teacher asked. She wasn't an old teacher, maybe just out of college. Cole shots her a look but Keegan turns on the charm.
"That is an our bad teach," He says walking over and leaning in the wall making her smile. Him and his player ways. I crack a small smile as we stand there.
"Care to explain further?" she says trying to act calm. Keegan smirks and crosses his arms.
"Well you see, we just won our big game, you know we are going to state...So Cassidy here was helping us plan a few things out, you know as a good luck thing because football is so important to this school....She wanted to get here sooner, but her twin and I told her not to worry, so really it is completely my fault," he says making the teacher smile.
"Alright, you three are off the hook this one time...I will even email you boys teachers and let them know you had permission from me to be out...Don't make it a habit please," she says making the boys smirk. I go to my seat and tune out.
Later around fourth hour i was sitting in the back of math class with Molly waiting for class to start.
"Hey...Cole and Keegan told us what happened, i just want you to know i am here to talk," molly says in a whisper as class begins. I ignore her and tune out again. Even Sam's staring doesn't bother me today. After classs i grab my stuff and walk out.
"Slow down there princess," Sam says walking next to me. I flintch away from him making make me slam into the locker. He looks at me with worry in his eyes and confusion.
"Sam not today," Molly says walking next to me as i try to contorl my breathing. I was having a panic attack, i haven't had one since i was little.
"Cassidy, are you okay?" Molly says as i feel like there is something choking me. I start choking and can't breath. I feel someone touch my face but i was on a panic and couldnt open my eyes.
"Cassidy, calm down, breath," Sam's voice rings in my ear. I don't know what it is, but it calms me down. I lean my head on his chest as i bring my breathing down. I feel him rub my back and let out a sigh.
"What do you think you're doing?" Keegans voice breaks in pulling me away from my peace and i start to panic again.
"Keegan stop! she is having a panic attack," Molly says trying to let Sam calm me again, she can tell too.
"Like hell i would let him touch her...Cole will be back soon he can do it," Keegan says pissed off as i start shaking at this point.
"Look man, i know you think i am bad news, but right now i can help her....Just let me help her alright?" Sam says with a pissed, caring, and worried tone all in one. Keegan doesn't let me go tho.
"Dang it Keegan do you want her to get worse?" Molly says in anger. I have never seen her angry before. After another few moments i feel a new pair of hands pull me in then the same wormth again. My heart beat slows and i once again lean my head on his chest.
"Open your eyes princess," Sam whispers in my ear. I slowly open my eyes and realize i was sitting on the floor between his legs as he leans on the locker behind him. I look up at him and he half smiles at me.
"HOw do you do that?" Molly asked amazed. "No one besides Cole can do that," she says again.
"My sister had them when she was little....I know how to handle them, well, when people don't ruin it," he says looking at Keegan.
"Not now kid," Keegan says keeping focus on me.
"Let's get home," Molly says as she grabs my bag.
"Yeah i need to pick up cole on the way he skipped," Keegan says. I shake my head and look at Sam.
"I'll walk her home, just in case she freaks again," Sam says looking at me.
"No way, after what she been through she isn't going to want to," Keegan says freaking out again.
"NO....I want him to," I whisper as Molly smiles and pulls Keegan away. Sam helps me to my feet and we walk together outside toward my house.
"Man i can't believe they let that guy get away," Sam says making me look at him.
"How do you know that?" I asked stopping and looking right at him. He looks at me and sighs
