"Eleven." Mike gasped out. He took a step towards her, El doing the same. The two quickly embraced. A smile was growing on my lips.
"Is that..." Max glanced at Lucas. Dustin and Lucas nodded, starring at their friends.
"I never gave up on you." Mike told Eleven after he let go of the hug. "I called you every night. Every night for-"
"Three hundred and fifty three days." El finished his sentence. A tear started to slip down her cheek. "I heard."
"Why didn't you tell me you were there?" Mike asked, looking her in the eye. "That you were okay?"
"Because I wouldn't let her." Hopper said. We turned our attention to the Chief. He looked at El with a form of relief before giving her an all too familiar parental expression covered it up. "The hell is this? Where you been?"
"Where have you been?" Eleven shot back softly. Hopper brought El into a hug. The younger girl laid her head on his chest. They appeared to look like a family. A father and his daughter.
"You've been hiding her. You've been hiding her this whole," Mike went towards Hopper and shoved him, "time."
"Hey!" Hopper fisted Mike's shirt from the front. "Let's talk. Alone."
Mike glared at him, pushing Hopper's hand away. Hopper rolled his eyes and started to lead Mike to another room. El's eye followed them until the door closed.
"Are we going to hug her or?" Danny furrowed his brows.
"Let her best friends hug her first." I told him, already looking at our younger brother and his friend. The two looked as if they were about to sprint toward her.
Dustin and Lucas ran toward Eleven. The girl stumbled backwards as the two boys hugged her at the same time. El wrapped her arms around the both of them.
"We missed you." Lucas told her.
"I missed you, too." Eleven muttered back.
"We talked about you pretty much everyday." Dustin informed her with a smile. The trio broke away from the hug.
El frowned as she stared at Dustin. Bringing her hand towards his face, she poked her finger at his two front teeth. Dustin's face scrunched up in confusion as he leaned back.
"Teeth." El mumbled.
"What?" Dustin asked.
"You have teeth." El softly said. Dustin grinned, looking at us. We all smiled back.
"Oh. You like these pearls?" Dustin purred with a toothy grin. El shot him a weird look. I rolled my eyes and bit back a laugh.
"Eleven?" Max started to walk towards the group. She gave El a smile. Eleven glared at her. "Hey. Um, I'm Max." She held out her hand to El. "I've heard a lot about you."
