I decided to show Chris around New York City for the day, we took an Uber to Time Square, so we could shop around. Tina told me, a way for myself to find my own feelings, is to talk about it.
Honestly, I'm too scared to talk to Chris about my feelings. The only person who knows me inside and out, is Allison. Tina knows me well, don't get me wrong. Ive been with Allison linger.
"Let's go inside here." Chris grabs my hand, pulling me into Tiffany's.
"Why are we in here?" I ask him, walking to the rings.
"I don't know, it was too hot outside." He says.
"This ring is so beautiful." I say in awe. It was a diamond ring, sparkly and beautiful.
"It is." Chris nods, looking at the ring. I scroll over to the necklaces, Chris walking off somewhere else.
I see pretty orange necklace, "Can I see this necklace, please?" I ask an employee.
He nods, opening up the case and handing me the necklace. I hold it in my hands, admiring the beautiful piece of jewelry. I hand it back, thanking the man, walking off to the earrings.
Chris soon joins me moments later, "See anything you liked?" He asks.
"Just looking." I shrug. We decide to leave the store. "Did you see anything you liked?" I joke, asking Chris.
"No, but it was nice and cool in there." He says, putting on his sunglasses. "What should we do now?" I ask him.
"I don't know anything about New York. You tell me." He says.
A small smile appears on my lips. I grab his hand, running down the block with him following closely behind.
-
"Where did you take me?" He asks.
"The best deli there is. Here, you'll have the best sandwich of your life." I say, licking my lips.
"What do you usually get?" He looks down at me as we walk to the medium sized line.
"An Italian BMT on Italian bread, also put toppings on. It's the best." I say, practically moaning as I stand next to him.
"Hm, maybe I'll try that, too." He says.
"You should." I smirk up at him.
"Next, please." We go up next. I order a foot long, and say my order. Chris and I agreed on sharing one, which I'm fine with, because I'm not that hungry anyways.
(foot long like subway but this isn't subway)
Our food comes out, Chris pays for the food, of course I fought it off. We sit outside, its super nice out. "It's so hot out." Chris complains as we sit down in our seat.
"It's nice out." I say.
"That's because you're wearing a tank top and shorts." He rolls his eyes.
"Not my fault you picked a bad day to wear jeans and a T-shirt." I snort, taking a bite of my sandwich.
"Shit, this is good." He says, taking another bite.
"Right! I found this place when I was 10." I tell him.
"By yourself?" He asks.
I shake my head, "No, I was with my dad. But, soon as I got older, I came here by myself." I tell him.
He nods, "your parents let you out in the city alone?"
"Yeah, they were never home. I got bored." I say.
"Did you move to LA when you turned 18?" He asks.
"What is this? Ask Violet time?" I chuckle. "But, no. I came there to audition for Not Another Teen Movie, not thinking I would get a part in it. Then I rented out a place, got money and bought a house at 19." I say.
"What do you like more? LA or New York?"
I ponder for a moment. "I think New York. I've been here my whole life. I'm used to here more, but I do like California." I tell him, he nods.
"What about you?" I ask. "Boston or Cali?"
"Boston. My family is there, and I've grown up there." He says almost instantly.
"Do you ever want to have a family of your own some day?" I ask him.
He nods, with a small smile. "Yeah, I do."
"Maybe if," I start to say, but then shake my head.
"Maybe if, what?" Chris asks, leaning onto the table with his elbows.
I shrug, "Maybe if we weren't fake dating, I wouldn't be in your way of you finding a woman to start a family with." I say, looking over at the next street.
"I don't mind. I'm not looking right now." He says, looking intently at me.
"Why not?" I ask.
"Because I think I already found her."
