I sit down at the desk in front of me as Abrielle tells me my fans were quite surprised by the sudden outburst of the new relationship. My eyes travel to the the empty chair next to me. Chris had left the other day to spend time with his family, so I'm being delivered this news by myself. called me into her office today, saying she needed to talk to me.

"Shook? Really?" I narrow my eyes her, reciting the words she just shared with me.

"Isn't that what you all are using nowadays? Shook, wig? I don't know, I'm new to this." Abrielle claims, looking down at her papers. I shake my head, ignoring her statement and turn to Andrew, who was also here, "Okay, what's the idea?"

Andrew clears his throat and explains. "I've already discussed this with Chris before, but we plan on you flying out to meet his parents. In the process, you post a few pictures and maybe even throw some videos in there, too."

"Do his parents know about the fake dating? Or do I actually have to pretend I'm in love with Chris so his mom doesn't kick me out?"

Abrielle throws me a disappointing look before shaking her head. "No, they don't know. Which means you do have to continue it in front of them. Chris already mentioned you to his parents, and hope you come."

A loud sigh escapes my lips and my arms cross in front of my chest. "When do I fly out?"

"Early tomorrow morning. I'll call you when the private jet arrives." she tells me, already moving her eyes to the computer and typing away. A private jet? Seriously?

I nod and get up from my seat, turning around to the door. "Wait! Call Chris tonight and then call me afterwords so we can go forward with the plan."

"Got it." I said and wave them goodbye. I close the door behind me and Abrielle's assistant, Jessie, stops me to hand me my jacket. I thank her and step out of the building not shortly after.

I head to my car and already spot a few Paparazzi as they snap a few pictures of me. I ignore their questions and comments about Chris and I and leave quickly.

-

I think about seeing Chris's family, wouldn't it be too early for that? It's been like two weeks since we've been even something, but it's not even real. I sigh, and grab my phone. I pull up Chris's contact and call him.

After a few rings, he picks up.

Hello?

Hey, so I was talking to Abrielle and Andrew today, have they talked to you also?

Yeah they did, they told me to talk to my parents before anything and they think we're really dating. So, they would love to meet you.

Chris speaks unenthusiastic, clear in his voice, making me frown, knowing he doesn't even want me to be around him. Which I really don't care about.

Alright I'll be arriving early or whatever.
Abrielle already got a private jet.

Okay. I'll pick you up at the right time and show you around town.

I smiled.

Okay, cool. I'll text you what time I'll be arriving.

Okay.

Okay, bye

Bye.

The phone call quickly ends and I face palm, wondering why I even agreed to this.

-

I left my house around 3am last night, the jet taking off at 3:30. The flight was 5 hours or so, we landed at 9am. Chris picked me up at the airport, driving us back to his family home. "Everyone other than my parents might be asleep, so when we go in, let's be quiet." He says, I nod.

We enter the house quietly, he grabs my suitcase and walks up the stairs. I follow behind him to his old bedroom that he grew up in. He shuts the door behind us and sets my suitcase down.

"Cute room." I comment, giggling slightly.

"Thanks, I haven't taken any posters down yet." he claims, I look at the walls and see a bunch of puppy posters. I smile warmly, taking a seat on his bed.

"I'm so tired." I lay back in his bed. I feel the bed dip besides me, I open my eyes. Chris lays down next to me, making me back up a bit so he has more room.

"Me, too." He shuts his eyes. My eyes shutter close and darkness takes over.

-

I flutter my eyes open and feel Chris's arms hugging my body close, I grab my phone out of my hoodie pocket, gentle so he doesn't wake up. I check the time, 10:27am. We fell asleep for about an hour.

I shake Chris slowly, so he could wake up. His eyes open, and he turns over to me. "Should we go downstairs?" I ask, whispering.

"Yeah, sure. Why are we whispering?" He asks.

I shrug my shoulders, "I don't know." I whisper.

A smile forms on his face as he chuckles, "Come on, get up." He gets off his bed and holds out his hand.

"No, I wanna sleep." I close my eyes, putting my arm over my eyes.

"No, get up." I feel his arms wrap around my waist as he picks me up.

I squeal, a loud laugh escaping my lips. He sets me down with a smile on both of our faces. "Ready to meet my family?" he asks, his eyebrows rising.

My eyes widen, slightly. "No." I shake my head.

He frowns, "you'll be fine, come on." He intertwines our fingers, and opens his door.
