Everyone turned to us and I saw his expression change as our eyes met, he smirked and winked at me.

My face turned red because of all the attention "I-i-".

"Don't worry dear" I looked up to see a woman in a pink dress, she was smiling softly at me "you are little flushed, are you sick".

I shook my head in a no.

She touched my cheek "you look exhausted,have you eaten anything today" she asked me in a motherly tone and before I could respond she said again "Adrian take this girl to the sitting room and give her something to eat".

I looked at Brielle to help me out of this situation but she glared at me, I sighed as a young man whom I assumed was Adrian came to me.

I walked behind him and he stopped abruptly causing me to bump into his chest, I looked up at him irritated  he returned my gaze with a calculated one.

I was regretting giving the pepper spray that uncle Mason had given me to mary our neighbor's daughter.

"So you are the girl who helped the prince, yesterday".

"If you mean the idiot who forced me to help him, ate the cupcake my boss baked for her husband which cost me my job and poured a sack of flour on my head, left without even a decent thank you, then unfortunately yes." I think that was an decent enough thanks, SHUT UP!

"You sound like you regret helping him".

I folded my hands and looked at him in the eyes "absolutely" he raised an eyebrow "he's an egoistical self centered fool" I added.

Adrian looked at me for a second and chuckled.

That was the last reaction I was hoping for, I thought that I would get whipped or maybe hanged at the square.

"Sounds like him" he said pinching the tip of his nose.

"Personally I don't think you can hurt him still I've to keep an eye on you because it's kind of coincidence that you happen to be in the same place as him, twice and we don't believe in coincidences."
