Chapter 19

     'What are you doing in the hostel,  Fiyin was looking for you' Anulika complained coming to my room after social night when I was already settled for bed in my nightwear.  After Jidenna went back inside the hall I came to the hostel.' What exactly did you expect me to do there,it's not like I have a boyfriend to be talking to or kissing and I talked to Tobe who seriously irritated me.' I said yawning.' Ooooh why now,he'll start acting worse. I really appreciate your trying to help but he wont listen.' Anulika frowned.' Calm down now, he wont. Not after Jidenna threatened him.' I said and Anulika's eyes widened. 'Kaima,you told him.' Anulika widened her eyes.' Not exactly,he was eavesdropping when I was talking to Tobe. I'm sorry Anu.' I said and she sighed. 'It's fine, Jidenna is trustworthy.' Anulika said and I smiled.' Jidenna threatened Tobe so he won't be bothering you anymore. 'I offered and Anulika smiled.' Its fine. Thank you. Now come down from that bed. Who sleeps at 11pm on a friday night' Anulika said shaking me vigorously. 'Ooo, I'm tired and aren't you supposed to be having a hangover by now.' I groaned burying my head in my pillow. 'Abeg, only stupid girls drink so much as to have a hangover, I mix just a little with my punch. Did Fiyin make you drink.' Anu asked suddenly bothered.' Dey no born him ( he cant try it)' I said and Anu went back to pulling me.' Anulika Tabitha Ejike leave for Christ's sake. What do you want us to do ehn' I said frustrated and she smiled evilly. 'You guys,should we have confession night' Anulika asked my roomates ie Tolani and Princess, Lota wasn't back yet. I'm suspecting Nonso. They nodded in agreement. 'Are  you guys not tired ni.' I said and Lota walked in.' Kaima nawa for you ooo' she said in shock.' What did I do now.' I asked yawning, cant I just sleep in peace ehn. 'So you agreed to to play volleyball after all you shakara(pretense). So what are we doing.' She asked pulling off her tshirt.' Confession night' Anulika said excitedly and Lota nodded.' Am I seriously confessing our sins to each other' I asked and Anulika sighed.' Kaima, its like truth and dare cept there's no dare. Besides my sins are too poisonous for your age.'  Anulika joked and everyone sat in a circle. 'Wait what if I lie.' I asked.' Oh my goodness, Kaima I'm your best friend and these are your roommates, if you dont  trust us. Who will you trust.' Anulika said and Lota spun the bottle on the floor in our middle. It stopped between Lota and Anulika, ' tell us,have you ever done more than kissing with Nonso.' Anulika asked and Lota blushed.' Yea' she said like it was the most  natural thing in the world while I stared at her speechless. The bottle was spun again and it landed between Tolani and I.' Ok I don't know what to ask .' I said and Anu rolled her eyes.' Anything even if it is what is your favourite food.' Anulika said.' Em okay, are you a virgin' I blurted and Tolani laughed.' Abeg virginity is overrated.' She said and my jaw dropped.  Who are these people.' Did you hate me when Joshua became my best friend. 'Lota asked Anulika when it was their turn and Anulika nodded. 'Kaima why did you leave Brighter hope  school.'Princess asked and I went rigid. 'Em,so as it was a girls only school,  we had mostly female teachers but we have a male corper teacher. So em anyway, I was close to him because I was his captain for physics class. One day he told me,he likes me and wants us to have a secret relationship. I told him I couldn't cause even if he was barely older than us he was my teacher.  He said that because I don't feel the same about him, doesn't mean I should act strange to him that we could still be friends despite teacher-student stuff which I agreed, only for one day a rumour started by one of the girls that liked him, that I was having sex with him to improve my scores and for expo. Anyway it surprisingly got to the principal. Luckily, she trusted me . So she advised my mum to change my school.' I said with a sigh as they stared at me.' That's just childish. She should have sent her nudes to the teacher so he'll know she interested. Some people are just pathetic. 'Anulika said. 'I didn't know we had Esosas' in other schools too.' Lota said and Tolani and Princess giggled, 'seriously me again, ' I whined when the bottle settled between Anulika and I and she broke out a huge smile. 'Kaima,who is your crush here in Laurels. And the truth ooo' Anulika asked. I should have known she was on to me. 'You guys promise not to let it cross this walls.' I whispered and they nodded eagerly. 'Fine, it's Jidenna. I like him' I said blushing.' Ha I knew it. 'Anulika exclaimed while the rest smile at me.' No wonder,you agreed to play volleyball, when he asked you.' Lota said wiggling her brows.' Awww, you guys really fit.' Tolani said.' I dont understand. Is it because he's kinda white and handsome or because he's sexy. Wait, you know Jidenna is sexy abi. Anyway  why do you like him, I mean he's always acting mean to you and he almost turned your face to human suya( roast meat)' Princess said and everybody laughed.' No,it's not because he's gorgeous or sexy and yes I've heard of his body from even Fiyin.  I don't  really know why but it maybe has to do with the fact that he's caring.' I  said looking like a black tomato. 'How' Tolani asked,' he give me his cardigan to cover my skirt when I was stained and the drug when I had my cramps and he's defended me from mr Victor and today from Tobe.' I said.' Awwn, that's boyfriend material confirm. Kaima and Jidenna sitting on a tree k-i-s-s-i-n-g. First comes love,then comes marriage, then comes a little  baby sleeping in a carriage.' Tolani sang while Lota, Anulika and Princess laughed.' Shut up joor,someone might hear you. Nawa, you guys are so argh' I groaned, when they started making kissing noises.' But seriously, I think he likes you.' Lota said.'Jima will be your ship name' Anulika said.' I wonder if you baby will be black or white if you guys got busy without protection.' Tolani added and they laughed while I shook my head at my friends.

A/n soooo sorry for the late update. Been really busy. Anyway, who liked this chapter. How do you feel about Kaima's confession about her former school. Don't you just love Kaima's friends. Who can suggest a better ship name for Kaima and Jidenna.
