Chapter 34

          "Babessss!! " Anulika screamed,  jumping on me as soon as I got into the hostel  on saturday. " Calm down now. How are you." I said dropping my schoolbag on my bed and hugging her properly. "I swear ive been waiting on your bed since for you. Have you seen Jidenna. God ehn he is so fine." Anulika said and I blushed a little remembering his cardigan that was lying safely in my bag. I had not bothered washing it because  I wasnt ready to return it yet and his perfume put me to beautiful sleep. "What of Fiyin, is he back." I asked ignoring her question and she flushed visibly . So I wasnt the only one hiding something.  "Anulika, what are you not telling me" I raised a brow at her and she blushed, " ok well. The day we went to the movies,  you know I went home with him sha." She said and I just watched her eagerly anticipating. " Yh ,he told me he's not over me and he still loves me. " she smiled " awwn thats so cute." I said and the hostel bell interrupted us signalling dinnertime.
     Turned out, Anulika lied to me. Jidenna wasnt so fine. He was so breathtaking and mouth watering,  his hair was higher and curlier. He looked fairer and taller n more muscular. " ma babe mela." Fiyin said and hugged me even tighter than Anulika, those two were really soul mates. " im good ooo, now please don't break my ribs." I wheezed and he released me to get a disapproving look from Jidenna. " hey." I smiled weakly and he smiled back thankfully. "Im so hungry like fuck" Fiyin interrupted our moment.
           "students good morning,this morning "  Mrs Laurels, our proprietress ended her welcome back speech and everybody clapped, while Mr Salami came on the stage and everybody clapped again, they missed their favourite grammartarian if there was a word like that." Good morning students, this is to uniformly inform you all that your second assessment test is next week monday so if you are completely engrossed in the preparations for the inter house sports to read, you had better check yourself so as not to mar your result. Head boy and girl ,let us see now" Mr Salami said and left the podium followed by the hushed murmuring of students gisting about their holidays.
      " hey, good morning. " I heard behind me as I arranged my locker and turned to face Jidenna who was smiling at me broadly, that I thought I was dreaming. " oh good morning" I said after making sure he was talking to me not the person beside me and he chuckled. Who exactly was this. " em why dont we walk to class together ,since Anulika is with Fiyin." He said and my mouth dropped. "Yeah sure." I nodded and he smiled. " em I'm sorry about Bade. I heard what happened from Fiyin." He said. Oh yeah, it turned out Bade was only interested in bieng the first to sleep with me and it was a bet. Thank goodness I didnt fall too hard and he's not even coming back to Laurels." Im not trying to mock you, I swear." Jidenna suddenly said when he saw me frowning. "No, its not that. Besides you warned me." I said awkwardly and he sighed. " so um are you going to continue playing volleyball ," He asked changing the subject." Yh why not." I nodded and we got into class and settled in our seat with eyes focused at us even from Anu and Fiyin.  " morning class, " mrs Bimbo came in for civic class

       " you are seriously sick Fiyin." I laughed had as he gisted all of us on our table during lunch how one girl sneaked her underwear into his pocket in a club and accused him of using her for benz because he did not want to do her. "Youre stupid Fiyin. A hundred percent stupid, " Jidenna rolled his eyes " you dey vex say up on though you fine pass me .you no dey get babe pass me.(even though you are finer than me. You don't get as much girls as me) " Fiyin grinned at him and immediately we heard the sound of a punch.  "Guy what the actual fuck" Fiyin stood surprised at a fuming Joshua. "Everybody knows you are a man slut buh I didn't give a damn, but that is no reason for you to try your trash on my girl." Joshua said punching him again but this time Fiyin did not let him have the chance." Which girl. Are you insane." Fiyin shouted angrily pushing him and  everyone was watching as Jidenna stood to help. Were they fighting over Anulika. I turned to see  an embarassed Anulika bowing he head on her table. What did that bitch not tell me. "Dont fucking pretend. You asshole. You had your chance with Anulika and you wasted,so now she's my babe, you have no fucking business kissing her like she's yours ." Joshua spat as they fought while Jidenna tried to separate them but they just pushed him away.  Anulika and Fiyin kissed!!! " And so, the kiss was so passionate. is it my fault your d is not enough for any girl" Fiyin said laughing purposely taunting him. I turned to see Anulika leave the hall and I stood to follow just as Nonso and some other guys came to separate them." Hey ,all this mumu juniors, sebi you have seen film abi. Fuck out all of you. And if I hear this from anybody ehn ,you'll regret it. " Nonso's voice echoed from the hall as I went to looked for Anu and I guessed the fight was over. Who was I kidding, Fiyin would never let Anulika go now that everyone knew he was still hung on her. So the fight was just far from finished.
