Kaima's pov

    Jidenna's hands slid round my waist and he deepened the kiss. He tasted of mint as always and his perfume filled my bieng Immediately I pulled away after few minutes, he growled pursing his lips like a child while I giggled shyly. I couldn't believe all this was happening and I pinched myself to make sure I wasn't sleeping."you're not dreaming Kaima.  I like you" Jidenna said with a chuckle. Was it weird that the way he said my name was a turn on. "How did you even get out of school. I had to pretend that my mum called. " I asked suddenly wondering. " Well, mr  Nuru owes me a favour. A big one. " He shrugged and I smiled. "But my aunt wont be happy if she finds out that I left school, even though it was totally worth it, " he said looking at my lips. " Shut up Jidenna" I blushed and he laughed. "Baby,  he's awake. Ooh Jidenna how are you" mum interrupted and smiled broadly as she saw Jidenna who greeted her with a broad smile on his face too. "Come on,  lets go see him. " mum said happily and I sighed in relief smiling, "I should get going now" Jidenna said nervously and I giggled, "I'm sure my husband would love to meet his princess's boyfriend" Mum Said and I frowned while Jidenna chuckled.  "Mummy,  he's not my boyfriend. Jidenna stop laughing you're encouraging her" I pouted narrowing my eyes at him as he raised his hand. "Daddy, " I sighed and ran to hug him as he smiled weakly and kissed my forehead, "um... good evening sir" Jidenna greeted nervously and dad stared at him."oh er,  Good evening Jidenna. How are your parents" Dad asked and he replied, "um sweetheart,  let's go get some groceries so that we can go home" mum said and Jidenna and I stood up.  "Em Jidenna, I want to have a little private chat with you" dad said and mum smiled while Jidenna looked scared which was funny,  when Jidenna came out to meet mum and I, he was bright red and sweaty ."wow,  what did my dad  say to you " I giggled whispering to him while mum was on the phone. "Yunno , just stuff.  I should get back to school now" he said and I nodded. " I hope you come back, so we can work out ourselves" he said holding my hand gently with a genuine smile and I blushed.  "Yh me too" I said looking away. "Bye, Kaima" he kissed the back of my palm like a gentleman and I blushed again. The way he called my name always woke the butterflies in my tummy.

Jidenna's pov....

       "Hmm,  looks like someone's missing my bestie" Anulika smiled when she saw me staring at Kaima's letter and I frowned at her.  After I came back from the hospital, I explained everything to them half expecting Anulika to slap me but she hugged me much like Kaima. Kaima. I freaking missed her and it was just two weeks. What if she wasn't coming back to Laurels, I'd be so-. "Earth to Jidenna oo" Fiyin interrupted my thoughts while Anulika just laughed. "Guy you have it bad" Fiyin chuckled and I frowned. "What do I have" I glared at him. " blackburns boy. I came up with that myself" Fiyin said feeling achieved while I hissed. What the hell is blackburn. " you guys, Kaima is back" Theodora yelled as she rushed to our table smiling at me.  Yup,  almost everyone knew I liked her thanks to my bestie and her bestie.  "Abeg ,its getting old jare" I rolled my eyes. Some people would just come and yell she's back just to prank us and catch their childish fun. "Pele,  oga lovesick,  do I look like im joking" Dora frowned at me and as if on cue,  my princess walked in with her school bag. "Kaima!!!" Anulika screamed drawing the attention of everyone in the ss3 wing of the dinning. She ran to hug her so tight that I thought Kaima would break. A lot of other people went to hug her at the same time including Fiyin. When I finally got to her, everybody left her, all smiling broadly. She saw me and blushed while I stretched my arms. "I fucking missed you" I whispered as she hugged and everybody around us went awwing followed by a long hiss. We turned to the direction and saw Esosa typing on her fone,  chewing gum loudly. "Bad belle is allowed. " Anulika sang loudly and Esosa glared at her and stood up to go. "Go ooo,  so I can take your fried rice and turkey" Fiyin said and she sat down back suddenly remembering what was for dinner while I carried Kaima's bag and held her hand to the table
    "So jamb lectures have started and we have night classes in the hall." Anulika explained as we ate.  Anulika came to eat on our table and somehow I was wishing she didn't. Possessive or whatever you call it, I wanted Kaima to myself for now. "Ok is it out teachers that are taking it" Kaima asked,"nope,  we students,  Fiyin , Jidenna and Nonso take maths, Fiyin is even to teach tonight. Lota, Adasa and you are to take biology. Im taking English with Esosa and Tolani. Esosa of all people, its just that she's actually good in English except the 'like' that she's always saying" Anulika said rolling her eyes and we all laughed.  "Fine you've finished talking, can I have my girl back now" I said and Kaima blushed. "Hey  orishirishi ( an exclamation in yoruba language). I wont talk oo,  pele ( sorry) sir . Bobo wey get girl.( boy that has girl)" Anulika exclaimed dramatically while we laughed and Fiyin pulled her closer to him. " im not your girl Jidenna" Kaima whispered to me. "Not yet" I said with a smile which she smiled back and placed her head on my shoulder.
